Soon, they are consumed with the task of finding an armed robber. The armed robber attacked a person and ran away with their money. He then attacked a few more people at his next location. The team gets completely engrossed in this complicated case. Information begins to arrive.
The team is able to connect the dots quickly, proving their competence. The truth about the man's identity is revealed. The person, Gary, comes with an intriguing past. One might think that his economic situation might be the cause of his actions. However, Gary does not hail from a poor background. Rather, his father was a successful businessman.

The team reaches Gary’s father’s house. Gary's father informs them about Gary’s girlfriend. When Gary’s girlfriend is investigated, she reveals that Gary is abusive towards her. Voight and Imani reach another spot where Gary attacked a police officer. However, before Voight is able to catch Gary, he attacks him from behind.
Things take a serious turn as Voight could easily end up in the same situation as Gary's other victims. However, things take a turn. Instead of attacking Voight further, he begins to apologize to him. He tells Voight that he regrets his actions and does not want to continue doing these gruesome deeds any further.
In the end, Gary kills himself and reveals that his past made him the way he is now. Voight understands that there is a connection between Gary’s situation and his father. The episode ends with Voight revealing that the injured boy in the picture is him. This episode makes us eager about the upcoming episodes.
