Chief of War Episode 4 recap: City of Flowers Part II

Episode 4, City of Flowers Part II, pulled back the curtain on the fractures that could tear apart Hawai'i. King Kahekili tightened his grip and decided to attack Hawai'i as soon as he learned about King Klani'opu'u's death.

Elsewhere, Keoua declared war on Kamehameha when he learned that his father had bestowed the military powers on his nephew, Kamehameha. Ka'ahumanu proved that she's not ready to be a silent queen; she advised Ka'ahumanu to make his judgment and not depend on the gods for orders.
