What happened in Episode 10 of Confidence Queen?
Episode 10 of Confidence Queen made a shocking revelation. After luring Jung-ho to invest in their film and making the film that he wanted to make, the trio then reveals to the world the ugly side of Jung-ho's fishery, destroying the image of yet another rich and powerful but fraudulent man.
Later, Yi-rang also finds the painting she was looking for in the art gallery and finally comes face to face with her perpetrator, Kang Yo-seop. While he is unable to remember her, she immediately recognizes the man who is the reason behind her childhood trauma.
She later attends one of his lectures where he talks about creating a Utopia. He also reveals that he grew up in a poor household and, with the help of tutoring, the young daughter of a rich man, Yo-seop, went abroad to study. Yi-rang quickly links his story to her kidnapping incident, but does not do anything there.
Furthermore, in the episode, Gu-ho, who had been suspecting his friends of hiding something, stumbles into Yi-rang's room and sees the huge evidence board. He recognizes the faces of all the people they had conned so far, and also his father's picture up there, in the middle.
After Yi-rang comes back, he asks her how his father was linked to all the people on the evidence board, and Yi-rang finally reveals the truth to him and tells him that his father was also the victims, hence his photo was on the board. In the end, Gu-ho is seen unable to take the shocking news in.
As per the preview to the next episode, Gu-ho will once again try to leave the team, resulting in Yi-rang and James going after Yo-seop on their own.
