The official synopsis of Season 3, Episode 6 of Criminal Minds: Evolution, as per IMDb, states:

"The team investigates a network killer who buries his victims alive, and Tara confronts Rebecca's ex, who has recently re-entered her life; Ronald Graber delivers a message from his Disciple to Voit."

In the new episode, the BAU is dealing with another unsub who buries his victims alive, though his motive behind the killings is disturbingly shallow. The killer, Kyle Mackey, wants to control the moment of death. He even tries to bury his own daughter alive and harm his ex-wife.

However, by the end of the episode, the BAU manages to save both Eva and Kailey. Eva is Kyle’s daughter, who is buried by her psychopathic father in a coffin rigged with explosives. Following Voit’s suggestion, the BAU deploys a post-quantum cryptography chip, disabling the signal just in time. Kailey, Kyle’s ex-wife, was also targeted, but the team rescues her before any harm is done. Kyle is apprehended, and during interrogation, he warns that multiple killers may now act simultaneously. JJ then uncovers a chilling possibility: the Sicarius network may no longer be activating one killer at a time — it might be unleashing many at once.

Medical empathy tests suggest that Voit is completely transformed and is now capable of understanding and feeling others’ emotions. However, the team remains cautious — especially Dr. Tara Lewis, who fears that his recovering memories might reactivate his violent, psychopathic tendencies.

This concern intensifies when Voit flawlessly impersonates Sicarius during a chilling interaction with Ronald Garber (a.k.a. The Brutal Man). Voit recounts the horrifying story of murdering Ronald’s family with cold, clinical detachment — and no hesitation. His calm demeanor and precise cruelty echo his past self, deeply unsettling both Ronald and the BAU.

Voits remembers his connection with The Brutal Man in Criminal Minds: Evolution season 3, episode 6

In the previous episode, the BAU captures Ronald Graber and asks Voit if he remembers his connection with him — to which he replies affirmatively. In the interrogation room, Voit recalls meeting a young Graber nearly a decade ago, shortly after murdering Graber’s entire family. Unbeknownst to Voit at the time, this encounter shaped Graber into the serial killer known as The Brutal Man.

The episode of Criminal Minds: Evolution ends with Quantico on lockdown after the BAU receives a Japanese Noh ghost mask — the same kind worn by Ronald — symbolizing torment from hell. This suggests that his warning wasn’t merely metaphorical.
