Criminal Minds Season 6 Episode 24, titled 'Supply and Demand', opened with a brutal car crash, where a driver seemingly lost control of his car after he was trying to overtake a truck.
When local PD arrived on the scene, the driver was found dead inside. However, this random car crash turned sinister when the local PD found two dead bodies in the back of the car.
As PD contacted BAU on the case, they identified the deceased victims as two college students who went missing from their homes some months back. As Hotch and his team are assigned to this case, they partner up with the domestic trafficking task force and bust a dangerous network of trafficking organizations, arresting many unsubs in the process.

Criminal Minds Episode Supply and Demand recap- The car crash leads the BAU to a human trafficking organization
The initial car crash in Criminal Minds: Supply and Demand soon turned sinister when the local PD found two dead bodies in the back of the car. After they are unable to identify the driver, they contact the BAU to take over the case. Garcia finds information on the deceased victims, who turn out to be two missing persons: Jake Wattey from Arizona and Paige Hawley from Ohio.
The BAU concludes that the unidentified man driving the car is potentially an unsub who is part of a human trafficking organization. The chainsaw in his car confirms that he was about to dispose of both Jake's and Paige's bodies, who were killed eight hours ago.
As Garcia begins to search for other missing college students in the past few months, Andi Swan, the head of the domestic trafficking task force, walks into the BUA's office and meets up with Hotch.
Criminal Minds: Supply and Demand soon takes a dark turn when Andi suggests that BAU's car crash case could be related to one of her cases, where her team is targeting a similar organization that abducts vulnerable and depressed college students. Since Andi's team had not had any solid leads for three years, she has also placed many of her agents as UCs, who pretend to be college students.
While she reveals that the organization also holds 'events' to lure the students in, she gets a call and discovers that one of her UCs, Renee, has missed her last two check-ins and is potentially in trouble.

Criminal Minds: Supply and Demand checks in with Renee, who is walking with one of her friends, Lucy, when they are both abducted. When Lucy asks why they are being held, Renee reveals that the unsubs are going to kill them. Lucy and Renee are being kept in an undisclosed location in cages, when one of the unsub takes Lucy away from the cage, leaving a screaming Renee shouting for her friend.
Back at the BUA, Hotch and his team are trying to figure out the mastermind behind this organization and learn that they are locals from rural Virginia, as they use payphones.
They try to establish contact between the unsubs and their clients and learn that all of these college students attended the same event, which was funded by powerful and elite owners. As time is running out for Renee, the BAU finally finds an abandoned location in rural Virginia, owned by one of the people who funded these events.
Criminal Minds Episode Supply and Demand recap: The chilling reveal of the real mastermind
Criminal Minds: Supply and Demand again shifts back to Lucy, who was separated from Renee and presented to some potential clients. While it is suggested that she will be killed, she is suddenly released and goes, “Welcome back, everyone!”
As it turns out, Lucy is the actual mastermind behind this operation, where the clients bid on trafficking victims and decide how the unsubs are going to kill them. The clients enjoy while the unsubs torture and painfully kill these innocent college students in front of their clients.
One of the unsub informs Lucy that Renee is demanding to be reunited with her, and she goes back to the cage, pretending to be her friend.
While talking with Renee, Lucy somehow concludes that she is a cop and puts her on the market. She decides that she will personally inflict pain on her and murder her. Just as Lucy ties Renee to a chair, the BAU bursts open and arrests everyone. While Rossi rescues an unconscious Renee, the team manages to make 18 arrests and save 7 victims.
The final moments of Criminal Minds: Supply and Demand saw Lucy pretending to be a victim in the back of a car. When Rossi rescues her, she points a gun at him, but Hotch saves the day and ultimately shoots Lucy first, killing the real mastermind.
