Crutch: Release date, cast, streaming details and more about the upcoming The Neighborhood spin-off

The Neighborhood's spin-off series, Crutch, will premiere tonight. The spin-off series will revolve around a shop owner and widower named Crutch, whose plan of a quiet life is sabotaged when his adult children and grandchildren return to live with him.

The spin-off series is set to premiere on November 3, 2025, and will be available to stream on Paramount+. All eight episodes will drop on the same day, making it the perfect show to binge.

Crutch: Release date, plot, and streaming details

The Neighborhood spin-off series starring Tracy Morgan as Crutch, the character the show is named after, will be released on Monday, November 3, 2025. The show will revolve around Morgan's character, whose hopes of living a quiet life are destroyed when his son and daughter, and her children, come to live with him.

As per TVInsider, the synopsis of the comedy series reads as:

"Welcome to Family Value - Calvin reaches out to his cousin Crutch to get Malcolm (Sheaun McKinney) a sweet deal on a new floor. However, Crutch insists on coming to L.A. to oversee the work himself, where he drives Tina (Tichina Arnold) crazy - and reveals an emotional vulnerability."

The show will be available for streaming on Paramount+. To watch the spin-off series, you can subscribe to the streaming service, which costs $7.99 a month, or go for the Premium plan, which costs $12.99 a month. Other than the comedy series, you can also catch up on more popular shows such as Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone universe, Yellowjackets, and Tulsa King.

A trailer for the series is also available, where we see Morgan's character trying to teach his grandkids, Mase and Lisa, on travelling through New York subways, and also tells his corporate lawyer son that money does buy happiness. They also meet a strange character travelling in the subway wearing a Unicorn onesie.

The connecting link between The Neighborhood and the spin-off series is that Morgan's character is the cousin of Calvin Butler, played by Cedric the Entertainer in The Neighborhood. Furthermore, Morgan has also appeared in the original series as Curtis, Calvin's wealthy brother. But in the new show, he will play Calvin's cousin.

Cedric, who is also the executive producer of the series, will also appear in a cameo role with his on-screen wife, Tina Bulter, played by Tichina Arnold.
