Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 set leak reveals the rumoured comeback of a MCU hero

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is currently in production, and fans are eating up every bit of information they can get from the set photos that are popping up all over the internet. Season 1 ended with Matt Murdock's Daredevil deciding to form an army to counter Wilson Fisk's Kingpin's army, as the mayor of New York, who has launched an Anti-Vigilante Task Force, and declared New York City under Martial Law.

Some of the leaked set photos on X show that Charlie Cox's Murdock is delivering on his promise, as it was officially announced that Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones, as well as Jon Bernthal's Punisher, are joining the Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 cast. New pictures on X (previously Twitter) also feature another MCU hero, the White Tiger, who was introduced in the first season of Daredevil: Born Again. Here's everything we know.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2: Is the White Tiger returning?

Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 witnessed the death of Hector Ayala, the White Tiger, played by Kamar de los Reyes. However, leaked set photos for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 reveal that another MCU character is taking over Hector Ayala's role as the White Tiger. This character appears to be none other than Angela del Toro, Hector's niece. After Hector's death, Angela was the most affected, as she was especially close to her uncle.

She even developed a relationship with Matt as she approached him multiple times after Hector's death to get him to find out who killed her uncle. Hector was investigating the disappearances near the train station before he was killed. So, Angela decides to continue his investigations by herself to find out who is responsible for all the people going missing and for her uncle's death. However, when she goes missing conducting these investigations, Matt is the one who finds and saves her from Muse.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 has perfectly set the stage for Angela del Toro to take over for her uncle, Hector Ayala, as the White Tiger, showcasing her bravery and her passion for justice. Even though she isn't particularly trained or has any powers to be called a superhero or to add anything of value to Daredevil's Army, Hector did get his powers from a mystical amulet, so there's a high probability that Angela will also don her uncle's amulet, and we might get to finally see The White Tiger in action in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.

It will be incredibly exciting to witness more of Camila Rodriguez's Angela del Toro with Matt Murdock in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 as they share a great bond. Her entry as the White Tiger into the MCU universe could also set her up for future appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
