Focusing on the iconic blind lawyer and vigilante, Daredevil: Born Again arrived on Disney+ in March 2025. With his crime-fighting skills, Matt Murdock tackles bad guys in New York City, while Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin.

This time, not as a mob boss but as a political figure aiming to take control of the city and continue with his shady business. The series takes place after the events of She-Hulk and Echo in the MCU timeline, with Murdock finding himself in a complex situation.

The first chapter brought back Daredevil's old rivalry with Kingpin and also introduced Muse, the serial killer. In the end, Fisk gained control and banned costumed vigilantes in New York. But Daredevil isn't someone who backs down easily.

The action and intrigue will return for more, as Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 has been confirmed. You read that right! It has been recently shared that the Marvel series will have a third season, and actor Vincent D'Onofrio celebrates this renewal with just a "3" on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

Daredevil: Born Again star Vincent D'Onofrio shares the simplest tweet after the Marvel series gets renewed for Season 3

Marvel confirmed that Daredevil: Born Again has been renewed for a third season, which is set to begin production in 2026. Following the update, Vincent D'Onofrio, the actor who brought Fisk to life, shared a tweet on his official page.

And if you think the actor might have posted a statement or expressed his excitement, then you're wrong. D'Onofrio just posted the number "3" on his tweet. Following the renewal, Marvel Studios' Head of TV and Streaming shared:

"In terms of Daredevil, yeah, we are greenlit for Season 3, and we start shooting next year."

For now, Season 2 is being worked on. It will be eight episodes long and will once again have Dario Scardapane as the showrunner, along with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.

The tone is expected to be darker: Fisk is now the mayor and ruling the city, vigilantes are illegal, and Matt must do his work with no legal higher ground. This is in the theme similar to that significant comic arc "Born Again."

In Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, Karen Page will play a more established and significant role. There are pretty strong rumors about the possibility of meeting Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) and Luke Cage (Mike Colter), given that the effects of Fisk’s anti-vigilante laws apply to them as well.

We also get a glimpse of Angela Del Toro’s rise to the new White Tiger position. Additionally, Marvel is hard at work on a standalone Punisher special for Disney+, which Jon Bernthal will co-write.

In that special, they will follow how Frank Castle continues to combat corrupt law enforcement, and perhaps it can launch another crossover with Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.

Since the second installment of the Marvel TV series hasn't been released, the makers haven't shared many details about Season 3. But considering the first Season and the anticipation for the conflict in Season 2, fans can expect Matt Murdock to destroy Fisk's plans soon.
