“Definitely a change of pace:” When The Challenge: All Stars' Averey revealed she and Adam Larson moved in together 

The MTV reality TV show, The Challenge: All Stars, includes contestants who have previously appeared on The Challenge to compete in the series once again. It has now been revealed that Averey Tressler and Adam Larson, who met during season 4 of the series, have been living together.

Taking the next step in their relationship, Averey shared how moving to South Carolina with Adam was a "change of pace from Arizona." In her exclusive interview with InTouch Weekly on June 12, 2024, she shared:

“But so far so good. It’s been nice. It’s definitely a change of pace from Arizona, like a change of lifestyle. I never thought I’d date a guy with two children, but here I am. And the girls are great. Everybody’s thriving and it kind of just feels natural and very in sync. It’s kind of wild.”

The Challenge: All Stars' Averey opened up about her relationship with Adam Larson

During her conversation with InTouch Weekly, Averey revealed that she moved to South Carolina back in January 2024 and had her own place. However, soon she and Adam decided to live together, taking the next step in their relationship. Averey opened up bout her relationship, stating that this "cohabitation thing" was to see if the new arrangement would work out for them. Everything started going smoothly and was "natural and very in sync." She said:

“I moved [to South Carolina] in January. I had a separate place but we are just now trying the cohabitation thing, so we’ll see how this goes."

As The Challenge: All Stars fans know, Averey and Adam crossed paths during the filming of season 4 back in 2023. The two contestants remained friends after the filming wrapped up, and soon their friendship blossomed into a romantic connection. Recalling how they both established a mutual bond, Averey revealed that Adam's daughter shared that he had a crush on her.

The Challenge: All Stars cast member elaborated:

“One of his daughters came up to me on the phone and told me her dad had a crush on me. And we had already obviously kind of figured it out, like, ‘I think I like you a little bit more,’ but [then] it was, like, official. And the girls are really proud of that one.”

During the interview, she also talked about being part of the MTV series, reflecting on the competitive nature of the show. She stated that it was a "one of a kind experience":

“I definitely think I got the bug. I got bit. I forgot how fun it was. Like scary. Super anxiety-driven. But so much fun and such a one-of-a-kind experience that you’ll never get. Yeah, I’m hooked.”

Adam won The Challenge All Stars: Rivals during the finale episode, which was released exclusively on April 15, 2025, on MTV. He and his partner Steve won the grand prize of $125,000 each.
