The Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown is one of the highest-paid actors for the global streamer Netflix, with her multiple show deals. However, her recent comments on the Capital Evening Show with Jimmy Bill point out that despite her extremely lucrative deal with the streamer, she is just like the everyday Netflix user in a way.

Millie Bobby Brown has been working in the industry for an extremely long time, with her first acting credit at the young age of 9 in Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. Consequently, the actor also owns multiple businesses.

The Stranger Things actors have an extremely high net worth. Over the last decade, with every season released, the show's popularity has increased, and so have the paychecks of the teenagers playing the central roles. Especially Millie Bobby Brown, who stars as Eleven, the central character, has a multiple-show deal with the streamer for The Electric State, Damsel, Stranger Things, and Enola Holmes.

When Stranger Things first premiered in 2016, the streamer was reportedly paying Brown between $10,000 and $30,000 for every episode. This number rose extremely lucratively high across the last decade in the fifth season and is reportedly $300,000 per episode.

Additionally, the young actor has even built a fast-growing business empire outside of her acting career. She founded a fashion, lifestyle, and cosmetics line, Florence by Mills, in 2019 and became a majority owner in just one year. The actress even has luxury brand deals with companies such as Calvin Klein, Pandora, and Louis Vuitton. In short, the actor is nothing short of a multibillionaire.

However, the Stranger Things actor is similar to an average Netflix user in the sense that, at her core, she is a frugal user who still uses her parents' Netflix account instead of paying for her own. She revealed to Jimmy Hill on The Capital Evening Show that:

"I’m like that too. I’m still using my parent’s account. I kind of refuse to pay for the subscription, because my parents pay and I’m still a child in my eyes, and in their eyes. So yeah, I’m part of the family deal."

Brown has never been shy about this aspect of her personality. She even revealed on the Call Her Daddy podcast that she has a thing about being very conscious regarding the money she does spend, which is in complete contrast to her husband Jake Bongiovi's way of living:

Oh, I need socks,” and he’ll be like: “Let’s go to Prada!” And I’m like: “Let’s go to Target," like, what?! He’s just that kind of guy. He loves to go shopping; he will refuse to pack a suitcase because he likes to go shopping in the place we are going, whereas I’m like: Amazon basics. I love that.’

So, despite being a multi-millionaire, the Stranger Things actor is frugal at heart.
