"Disgusted with myself" - Sister Wives' Christine Brown reveals her true feelings about Kody

Christine Brown has separated from Kody Brown and moved on with a new person on Sister Wives. However, she opened up about her feelings regarding her ex-husband Kody Brown, and how she sees that version of herself from the past.

Kody Brown, the centre of the show, had four wives who lived in a plural marriage. Christine was one of them, but was also the first to leave the relationship. The two were together for 25 years and share five kids.

Now that the most recent season of Sister Wives is over, TLC was filming the Tell All, where Christine and her husband, David Woolley, were getting ready to leave for the set. They talked about Kody, and Christine expressed,

"You realize I loved Kody, like, four years ago? So much of my life was so focused on him, and it makes me disgusted with myself."

Christine left Kody on Sister Wives a long time ago, and following her footsteps were Meri Brown and Janelle Brown. Kody is currently married to Robyn Brown and is a dad to 18 kids.

Christine talked about how Kody was never there for her when they were in a relationship. Even though she supported the relationship, sharing him with three other women, she lacked his presence and could not depend on him. Christine has always been unsure of him. Comparing Kody and David, she said,

"You're always here. You're always a constant. And I always know when you're here. I never knew when Kody would be around. He kept us always in suspense. But not really."

Robyn was the person with whom Kody would spend most of his time, as they lived together as well, and Christine hinted about it during this conversation. She said,

"Well, I knew where he was at. That's our biggest fight."

During the Tell All, Christine did not hold back on her feelings when talking about Kody and their relationship, along with the other women.

She said she felt as if their entire lives were focused on what Kody wanted and how they accommodated him, rather than him, also being an equal in the relationship and making the women feel comfortable.

Christine says that this behavior was not okay, and it all felt like their lives revolved around him at the centre.

Explaining, she said,

"My life was just wrapped up in what Kody needed and what he wanted and what the family needed and wanted. He didn't just do whatever we were doing. We had to change what we were doing to accommodate him. And that's not OK. That's not fair. That's making it so our lives are focused on him."

She labelled it "frustrating" and "embarrassing" to be in the situation, and would never want to be with a guy like him.

As for Kody, he says he will never get into a plural marriage again. According to him, it stretches his time, and managing everyone's expectations was a tough part. He is now fully committed to Robyn, as he expressed in an episode this season on Sister Wives.
