Twisted Metal, an action comedy, is set after the end of the world and is based on PlayStation games. The first episode aired on July 27, 2023, and the second season followed on July 31, 2025.

In the second season, Patty Guggenheim represents Raven, a major character. Raven is a strong-willed, forceful force pushing New San Francisco, as Neve Campbell played her in the first season.

In the last show, the question is whether they get back together. Without a doubt, not. Since Raven's wish is not granted and Kelly stays in a coma, they will never have the chance to get back together.

Raven's primary motivation is revealed throughout her character journey in Season 2. During her teenage years, she was involved in a prank that went awry, resulting in her lover, Kelly, being in a coma. Driven by that tragic event, Raven enters Calypso's wish-granting competition, where she plans to emerge victorious so that she may utilize the prize to bring Kelly back to life.

This is something that the season emphasizes over and over again, from the flashback to 1998 to Raven's vigil over Kelly's lifeless body, as well as John Doe's role as her designated driver inside the borders of New San Francisco.

Raven gets knocked out of the competition before the final round is reached. This means that she never has the opportunity to make a wish. During the last episode, an unanticipated champion is crowned, and the concluding episodes shift their focus to John, Quiet, Mayhem, and the Minion twist.

Additionally, the groundwork is laid for a more extensive struggle between Insiders and Outsiders. The sole evidence that Kelly is still alive beyond the flashback is found in Raven's recollections or pictures; there is no reunion between the two of them on screen, and Kelly does not wake up on screen in Twisted Metal.

Cast of Twisted Metal Season 2

Season 2 brings back Anthony Mackie as John Doe, the amnesiac milkman now racing for survival, with Stephanie Beatriz as Quiet, his razor-sharp partner and foil. Joe Seanoa and Will Arnett again combine as Sweet Tooth, body and voice, which keeps the clown’s presence chaotic and darkly funny. Anthony Carrigan joins as Calypso, the gleefully sinister architect of the tournament, who promises a wish to the winner.

Tiana Okoye plays Dollface, revealed as John’s sister and the face behind Minion, which drives the finale’s most personal twist in Twisted Metal. Patty Guggenheim steps in as the Season 2 Raven, the unflinching New San Francisco boss whose wish centers on Kelly.

Rounding out the core ensemble are Mike Mitchell as Stu, Saylor Bell Curda as Mayhem, Richard de Klerk as Mr. Grimm, Michael James Shaw as Axel, and Lisa Gilroy as Vermin. The season’s rollout started July 31, 2025, with episodes dropping weekly through August 28. This primarily kept the larger ensemble in constant rotation across the three-part endgame of Twisted Metal.
