As seen in the latest era of Doctor Who, actor Ncuti Gatwa has taken over as the Fifteenth Doctor—a time-traveling alien known as a Time Lord who has lived for thousands of years. It was revealed in the first chapter that this doctor from the planet Gallifrey travels through time and space in his uconoc machine called TARDIS.

Externally, TARDIS appears to be a vintage British police telephone booth. But it is a vast and mighty time machine. Additionally, Gatwa's Doctor adds something new to the show. He is not only filled with happiness and humor but also has an emotional aspect.

Initially, he's accompanied by a companion by the name Ruby Sunday, a young mysterious lady with mystical features. Afterwards, in the new Doctor Who Season 2, a new companion by the name of Belinda Chandra joins.

At first, Belinda just wants a lift home but that trip turns into a long, unpredictable journey through strange galaxies and unexpected events. Throughout this season, the Doctor and Belinda run into all sorts of bizarre and exciting threats.

The ongoing chapter has recently completed its Episode 4, in which Ruby tries to navigate life as she's no longer with the doctor. At the same time, Belinda and the Doctor continue their journey, but before that, the duo unexpectedly end up in 2007.

While the doctor and Belinda are on a new journey, Ruby is trying to lead a normal life after all those experiences she had in the past. Coincidentally, Ruby appears on a podcast hosted by Conrad, the same boy who's now a man obsessed with exploring the Doctor and aliens.

She opens up to him about her experiences and warns him of the Shreek, a deadly alien monster that once scarred him as a child. As the Doctor Who Season 2 episode progresses, Ruby and Conrad become closer, even entering into a romantic relationship.

Yet it's quite apparent that she remains troubled by her time traveling with the Doctor. Not only this, but there are also electrical disruptions taking place during their outings, suggesting that the alien danger is not yet over.

This causes Ruby to ultimately contact UNIT, the secretive organization dedicated to defending the Earth from aliens. At the same time, Ruby isn't free from the trauma she's been trying to cope with in Doctor Who.

Turns out that the drama has just begun. Ruby and Conrad's potential love story takes a turn for the worse when a large secret is unveiled. On a visit to a rural pub, Ruby and Conrad are apparently attacked by creatures resembling the Shreek.

But in a surprise twist, they are Conrad's friends in disguise as part of an evil internet prank. As seen in the Doctor Who Season 2 episode, Conrad runs a group called "Think Tank" which spreads conspiracy theories and misinformation about UNIT and aliens. His aim? To expose UNIT as liars and frauds.

Worse is that Conrad intentionally stayed away from drinking the antidote Ruby administered to stay protected from the creatures. He even creates a false hostage scenario within UNIT headquarters, holding Ruby and others at gunpoint to elicit a confession. This risky action not only destroys Ruby's trust but also UNIT's image in the eyes of the people.

Things become incredibly chaotic, especially for UNIT as they have no choice but to act fast. Their leader, Kate Stewart gives the serious order to release the real Shreek monster. This time, it's not a joke at all.

The Shreek chases after Conrad. Ruby steps in and manages to stop the creature, but before that happens, it bites Conrad. Luckily, he doesn’t die. But because of all the bad things he did earlier, he gets arrested.

The big danger seems to be over, but UNIT now faces a new problem. The public is angry and suspicious of them. People are asking questions and watching their every move.

Near the end of the Doctor Who Season 2 episode, the Doctor has a deep and emotional talk with Conrad inside the TARDIS. He's very honest and harsh, saying Conrad used lies and fear just to get attention.

Then, the Doctor shocks him by saying he’s seen Conrad’s future: he’ll die alone in prison at the age of 49. But Conrad doesn’t believe him. After the Doctor walks away, something strange happens.

A mysterious woman named Mrs. Flood suddenly appears and helps Conrad escape. This suggests that Conrad might be part of some even bigger and more dangerous plan in the future.
