Does Horace die in Beauty in Black Season 2? Character’s fate explored

Beauty in Black Season 2, part 1, just dropped, and there are massive revelations that completely change the fate of the Bellaire family. Beauty in Black Season 2 was released on September 11, with eight episodes. At the beginning of the series, Horace’s health is continuously deteriorating due to his cancer. He slowly begins to lose hope. However, he is determined to get revenge on his family.

So, he decides to take matters into his own hands and try an experimental treatment for his cancer. So, is Horace dead? The answer is now. At the end of season 2, part 1, Horace is still alive, though we are not sure for how long he will manage to do so.

Horace’s fate in Beauty in Black Season 2

Beauty in Black Season 2 ends with a cliffhanger about whether Horace survives the cancer treatment, for which he goes to Italy. Though up until the very end of the first part of the second season, Horace is alive and even looks at the conference when Kimmie joins the company. Horace wanted to take revenge on his family.

He did not want the hard-earned money and the name he had built slowly and steadily through the years to get completely ruined by his family members, who he thought were not worth it. Initially, when he found out that his cancer was terminal, he decided to get married to Kimmie so that she could take over the company in his place after he died.

On hearing Horace’s decision to give the company to Kimmie by marrying her, Horace’s ex-wife and children were not happy with the news. They tried to sabotage Horace’s marriage with Kimmie, but were not successful. Horace then began to teach Kimmie the ways in which she can handle the pressure of running the company.

Kimmie’s competence shocked Horace, and he understood that he did the right thing. Now, as Horace’s treatment was going nowhere, he knew that he was about to die and lost all hope of survival. However, after Sylvie showed Horace an experiential treatment with good results, he got intrigued. He decided that instead of giving up, he should try this treatment instead.

He showed the details of the treatment to his doctor, who also recommended that he try the treatment. As his health was already very fragile, he had to be cautious while flying. He took his private plane and flew to Italy for the treatment. Despite the danger of flying during such a fragile physical state, Horace made it safely.

At the end of the eighth episode of Beauty in Black Season 2, we see that Horace is getting the treatment in Italy and is also checking up on Kimmie to make sure she is doing fine. As the first part of season 2 ends without showing any further about Horace’s physical condition, it can be expected that we will see more of him in the next part of the series.

Though Horace’s impending death is looming over the series, for now, he is alive. At the end of the first part of Beauty in Black Season 2, he is a major player in the saga of the Bellaire family drama.

It cannot be denied that Horace is truly an intriguing character in the series, and his presence adds to the intense complexity that the series shines with. If the new cancer treatment makes Horace’s health better, then he will be able to take charge of his fortune beside Kimmie, and it would definitely be an interesting aspect of the storyline.
