From the very first season, Tim Bradform is facing life-threatening situations one after another. In the very first season, he faces a deadly virus that almost pushes him to the brink of death. However, he survives the virus valiantly by using the experimental drug.

After getting his health back, he continues with his endeavor, training the rookies and facing crime with equal might and valour. Each season of The Rookie puts Tim Bradford in danger one way or another. However, every time we think that he will be killed, he comes out of the situation stronger. It cannot be denied that the series will undoubtedly lose its charm if Tim Bradford is killed off.

He is the source of constant entertainment in the aspects of humor and thrill. Hence, his contribution is too crucial to be killed off easily. Even during the moments when he was close to death, he smoothly averted the danger. However, the shock came in Season 5 episode 18 when Tim’s dead body is found in a dumpster.

Fans were completely taken aback to see that their beloved character was dead. Then the twist came once again when it was revealed that the body was not of Tim’s but rather of his doppelganger, Jake Butler’s. To say that the fans were relieved would definitely be an understatement.

So, up until the seventh season of the series, Tim Bradford is still alive. The seventh season of the series brought forth many new plotlines, especially involving Lucy and Tim. Besides being a valiant sergeant, Tim Bradford’s story with Lucy Chen is also quite intriguing.

From being unable to accept their feelings for one another to finally being open about their true feelings, the two of them have come a long way. However, things definitely are not looking good for them after their breakup. Though they are not together, Tim still cares about Lucy immensely. It cannot be denied that their chemistry is truly worth investing in.

Tim Bradford’s journey in The Rookie is quite significant in his development. His background in the military gave him a tough exterior. However, he has a soft heart, as can be seen in his interactions with the other characters, which develop through each season.

Despite the multiple close calls, Tim stays strong. As the series is coming closer to the eighth season, we can hope that Tim will get his happy ending with Lucy. The eighth season of the series can be expected to be released early to mid-January.
