Does Will Louden die in Shetland Season 10 Episode 4? Details revealed 

Shetland Season 10 has kept viewers on the edge of their seats with its twists and turns, and after Episode 4, fans are left wondering if Will Louden dies. The answer to this question is no, at least for now.

Written by Ann Cleeves and Gaby Chiappe, the series features Alison O'Donnell, Steven Robertson, and Lewis Howden in the main lead. Season 10 premiered on November 5. The season consists of ten episodes in total, of which four have already been released, with the fourth one hitting the screens on November 26.

The official synopsis of Episode 4 on BBC reads:

"While Calder pressures Louden for help and Tosh investigates Robert Tulloch, Stevie’s battle to keep her sister turns desperate."

In the series, the character of Will Louden is played by Adam Rhazali, known for Outside and Jingle Bell Heist. Will is a drug dealer and an informer in the series.

What happens to Will Louden in Shetland Season 10 Episode 4?

Episode 4 focuses on Will Louden and DI Ruth Calder, a character played by Ashley Jensen, as she asks Will to help her find details on the Callaghan family, famous for drug trafficking. The name of the family came after many small hints after Ruth Calder pushed the investigation forward, slowly uncovering the family's drug-dealing connection in Shetland.

Calder, being Calder, is all determined to stop the Callaghan family. However, she couldn't do it alone and needed someone who could help her find inside information. Hence, she approached Will, a drug dealer. Will had to help her to keep himself safe, without knowing he was inviting more problems for himself.

Just to make sure Will helps her, Calder also used Will's love for his child to her advantage to blackmail him and bring him to help her find more information on the family.

Will's identity as an informer is soon revealed by Mitchell in the series, who sees Will and Calder together, coming to the conclusion that they might be working as a team to find details on the Callaghans.

Later in the episode, Calder found Will in a passed-out state. However, the episode doesn't show him dead yet, leaving hope that he might survive after all. The episode leaves viewers with many unanswered questions as they look ahead to Episode 5.

Firstly, was Will just unconscious, or was the whole situation staged and he was actually hurt badly, which led to this situation? There's also the question of what Mitchell did with the information after he saw Will and Ruth together.

On top of that, it's unclear if Will's condition was the result of an overdose or if it was made to appear that way. And most importantly, will Will survive, or will he be declared dead in Episode 5?
