Four seasons of cliffhangers, time jumps, and emotional roller coasters later, an epilogue allows the creators the opportunity to iron all the pieces together, to reveal where the characters stand, or to leave a final hint about potential spin-offs.

The fans are particularly thrilled by the fact that the Duffers have indicated that season five will take them back to where Stranger Things started, Hawkins, and the initial gang. It may be the best moment to look back and say goodbye.

The Duffer Brothers have planned a movie-length finale for Stranger Things Season 5, which is “about two hours long.” It is supposed to be grand and cinematic, like the spectacular climax great movies have. It will include a brief epilogue.

It is also reported that Netflix and the creators will split the season into parts, with the long finale featured in one of the subsequent volumes.
