The latest episode of the prequel series Dune: Prophecy is in full swing with 2 episodes remaining to the finale. The series is set 10,000 years before the events of Frank Herbert's Dune, Dune: Prohesy follows two sisters Valya and Tula Harkonnen in a battle to save humanity.

The previous episode, "Twice Born," was equally intriguing. It continued the narrative of the Harkonnen sisters against the backdrop of Dune's mystical and political world where the sisterhood experiences a collective nightmare that sparks deep concern among the acolytes. In episode 5, we can expect the stake to get higher as it further heads towards its one last episode.

In Addition to this UK viewers can also catch the episode later at 9 p.m. on the same day on Sky Atlantic. It can be streamed and is exclusively available on HBO Max.

The episode is set to escalate tensions among some key factions as the sisters dodge obstacles from external enemies and also fight for their ambitions. Meanwhile, the escalation of internal politics might reveal some crucial information about the Sisterhood's origins and their eventual evolution into the Bene Gesserit. The episode is significant as it will lead to the season finale.


What happened in Dune: Prophecy Season 1 Episode 4?

Dune: Prophecy season 1 episode 4 premiered on December 8, and picks up with the flashback that recapped Sisterhood's past. Valya intends to enact a rebel attack against the emperor Corrino. She further manipulates other houses to bring an inquiry against House Corrino to check its strength and advances her plan to restore the honor of House Harkonnen. She doesn't get out much of her endeavor but she does get Desmond's blood which she can use to know more about his identity and genetic history.

Ynez confronts his father over damaging rumors related to Desmond which further adds to the drama. The episode also features Keiran's plan of a rebel attack exposing the sisterhood to an external threat. This further increases the tension as the sisterhood must act to stop the rebels and safeguard themselves for a long-term role.
