Now he sees her walking home in the cold and is completely shocked. His guilt takes over, and he decides to drive her home.
During the car ride, Da-Rim excitedly explains her project. Her passion shines through despite everything. Ji-Hyeok listens and offers helpful suggestions. This moment displays his softer side, and we get to see that he is not actually an evil person. He is just hurt and perplexed about the situation.
The loan sharks attack again
Da-Rim arrives home to find loan sharks waiting. She thinks fast and pretends she is not Da-Rim. She claims the actual Da-Rim went on a big trip. The plan works, but Ji-Hyeok comes back because she left her phone in his car. He calls out her name, and the loan sharks realize she has been lying.
They run after her immediately, and Ji-Hyeok runs after them as well. Seon-U also witnesses this disaster and joins the chase. Ji-Hyeok and Da-Rim end up hiding in an enclosed space. They are practically hugging each other, and their faces are close enough to kiss. Ji-Hyeok respectfully takes a step back despite the chaos. Seon-U opens the door at the exact moment.
Hospital revelations in Dynamite Kiss
Both Da-Rim and Ji-Hyeok end up at the same hospital. His mother injured her leg in an accident. Da-Rim is visiting her sick mother, and they run into each other outside their mother's room.
Da-Rim at last explains the loan shark situation honestly. She tells him how the debt led to her mother collapsing. Ji-Hyeok's expression softens completely. He understands her desperation now, and he promises to be kinder to the team. He recognizes this job as their lifeline.
The Sabotaged broadcast in Dynamite Kiss
Dynamite Kiss throws another challenge at Da-Rim. The team has to host a live broadcast selling baby products. Ji-Hye, the evil half sister, insists on this despite Ji-Hyeok's resistance. Before the broadcast, they visit a store for supplies. They participate in a couple's game for a fancy product.
The game involves passing paper mouth-to-mouth. Predictably, they end up kissing when the paper slips. They do not even win the product. Ji-Hyeok buys it from the winners instead.
The broadcast turns into a disaster, and the two mothers leave due to emergencies. Another mom injures her face terribly. Only Da-Rim and one young mom remain. The young mom gives an emotional speech about the diapers. But she is too overwhelmed and steps out crying. Da-Rim must display alone. She has never changed a diaper in the past, yet manages to demonstrate well.
But Ji-Hye's assistant sabotaged the diaper by cutting it. It leaks during the live broadcast. Ji-Hye's assistant yells at Da-Rim publicly, and Ji-Hyeok steps in to defend her.
The black card rescue in Dynamite Kiss
Dynamite Kiss saves its most significant moment for the last. Da-Rim arrives home after the disastrous broadcast. The loan sharks are waiting, and they kidnap her immediately. They threaten to take her organs as payment.
