Dynamite Kiss episode 9 surprises fans with a fun One Dollar Lawyer cameo — Here’s what happened

Cameos are one of the best parts of K-dramas, and the makers of Dynamite Kiss made sure to slip in one that fans would instantly appreciate. The latest episode focuses on the tension between Da-rim and Ji-hyeok as he finally knows that Da-rim has always been single, and that she only lied to secure a job at Natural BeBe.

Amid all the conflicts and confusion between the main characters, the K-drama features the most unexpected cameo: lawyer Chun Ji-hoon and his trainee (who's now an attorney) Baek Ma-ri from One Dollar Lawyer appear in episode 9 of Dynamite Kiss.

Yes, you read that right! They appear when Ji-hyeok's engagement with Ha-yegong was canceled after his mother collapsed. She staged the act and then introduced Ji-hyeok to Ji-hoon and Ma-ri, as they're preparing Kim In-ae's case to fight for her rights in the company.

And the moment Ji-hyeok sees Ji-hoon's card, he's surprised to see his charges. The lawyer only charges 1000 won, which is just $1, to ensure everyone gets to hire a good lawyer and get justice. While fans of One Dollar Lawyer are aware of Ji-hoon's specialties, Ji-hyeok was the one surprised.

Dynamite Kiss episode 9 features a cameo from One Dollar Lawyer: Explained

As mentioned above, the Dynamite Kiss episode 9 brings back Chun Ji-hoon and Baek Ma-ri from One Dollar Lawyer as they agree to take up Ji-hyeok's mother's case. The K-drama had already revealed that Ji-hyeok's mother, Kim In-ae, has been facing health issues, and her husband has already remarried.

However, this does not mean that In-ae does not have any rights in Natural BeBe. Her husband just wants to kick her out of everything, but In-ae will make sure to take what's hers, and right now, she's planning to fight for her shares in the company.

And when she decided to file a case, she came to know about Chun Ji-hoon and his firm. In-ae even tells Ji-hyeok that he's skilled at his work. And when Ji-hoon introduces himself, he tells Ji-hyeok that he only charges 1000 won from his clients.

And currently, he's working with Baek Ma-ri, so they'll share 500 won each and work for In-ae. This is the moment in the Dynamite Kiss episode 9 when Ji-hyeok is stunned to learn that a well-established lawyer is taking such a low fee.
