The Amazing Race season 37 duo Ana and Jonathan Towns have sent a shockwave among fans with their bizarre relationship. In the most recent episode, fans saw yet another glimpse of their troubled married life and were quick to comment on Twitter about their opinions.
The viewers feel as if Jonathan treats his wife badly, going as far as calling her a "terrible" partner when she got a direction wrong, and think that he should apologise for it.
Recently, Ana opened up about her time on The Amazing Race and revealed that what the viewers saw on live TV between her and her husband was false. She implied that the producers had edited most of it in a way to show only the negative aspects and incite a reaction from the viewers.
Ana has spoken up amidst the backlash that the couple, especially Jonathan, is getting from the fans after seeing his behavior on the show.
Ana took to her Instagram stories, where she highlighted a comment that read,
"My friend was on Amazing Race and told me that she and her husband fought the entire time, and they edited out 100 percent of it. She was SO happy lol.”
Giving her opinion on the same, Ana wrote,
“FYI, we have heard this from COUNTLESS racers that have been on the show in the past. Very interested to see what they CHOOSE to show tonight."

Ana is currently a stay-at-home wife as she competes on The Amazing Race with her husband, Jonathan Towns. However, fans have been calling him out because of how he treats her when things go south or they suspect losing the race.
Among a lot of his passive-aggressive comments towards her, he has asked her to "stop whining" when they lost their lead.
As soon as the recent episode dropped, the fans went into a spiral. It was because he was being mean to her, and she felt bad and asked him to stop. However, instead of pausing and reflecting on his behavior and how it might be affecting his wife, Jonathan decided to call her a "terrible partner." This was not acceptable to the viewers.
They started calling him names and said that Ana is just tolerating his disrespect over and over again. A fan called him "insufferable" on X and hoped that the duo gets eliminated so that they don't have to see his toxicity again.
Other fans called his behaviour, where he blames everyone else for anything that goes wrong in his life. They said they were fond of Ana, but just because of Jonathan's actions, they want the couple to get out of The Amazing Race.
Taking note of the same, it was revealed by Ana back in April that Jonathan is seeking professional help. It was also a response to all the comments fans have been casting his way due to his behavior. Ana revealed that he is diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
