Elsbeth Season 3 Episode 3 Good Grief: Returning cast and character guide
Elsbeth Season 3 Episode 3 was led by Carrie Preston's Elsbeth Tascioni, the eccentric consultant detective working with the NYPD. After the harrowing events of the Season 2 finale, which landed Elsbeth in jail, she is adamant about uncovering corruption deals in the NYPD. Episode 3 follows a grief influencer's case, who is currently mourning the loss of her husband. Elsbeth is brought in to investigate her husband's murder, which leads to unexpected turns and twists.
The additional returning cast for Elsbeth, Season 3 Episode 3 Good Grief, is as follows:
Carra Patterson as Kaya Blanke- The recent episode marked the return of Kaya Blanke, who was assigned to head a special task force in Washington. Elsbeth Season 2 finale even featured a hearty farewell for Kaya, following which the lead detective was left without a partner.
However, Patterson made a special appearance in Good Grief, but her character could not communicate with Elsbeth freely as she was on an undercover mission. This appearance suggests that Patterson will likely keep making brief appearances throughout Season 3 of Elsbeth.
Wendell Pierce as Charles Wallace (C. W.) Wagner- Another series regular since Elsbeth Season 1, Pierce's Captain Wallace also returned in Episode 3 Good Grief, as the in-charge of Kaya's precinct.
Lindsay Mendez as Officer Grace Hackett- The All Rise star is the newest cast addition in Season 3, who partners up with the titular detective in Elsbeth Season 3 Episode 3 Good Grief. Following Kaya's undercover assignment, Elsbeth needed a new detective to work with, and Captain Wagner brought in Officer Grace.
