Elsbeth Season 3, Episode 6, Bunker Down, lands on CBS on Thursday, November 13, 2025.
It has its usual spot, 10 p.m. ET in the U.S. If you don’t have cable, you can stream it live with services like DIRECTV Stream (they offer a free trial) or catch up later on CBS’s website. There is a good chance it will show up on Paramount+ too. With new episodes dropping every Thursday, it is easy to keep up.
Elsbeth Season 3 keeps delivering the mix of offbeat detective work and legal drama people love. Carrie Preston is back as Elsbeth Tascioni: the brilliant, oddball lawyer-turned-investigator. She is working with the NYPD again, digging into big cases that swirl around New York’s powerful and privileged.
Every episode of Elsbeth Season 3 peels back another layer of the city’s secrets and moral messiness. The show sticks to its ‘howcatchem’ style, so you usually know who did it from the start. The real fun is watching Elsbeth in action, piecing together clues, outsmarting suspects, and getting inside their heads to figure out why they did what they did.

Elsbeth Season 3, Episode 6, Bunker Down, drops on CBS on November 13, 2025. The show sticks to its Thursday slot at 10 p.m. ET. You can catch it live or on demand through CBS and Paramount+, and if you don’t have cable, services like DIRECTV have you covered.
Since the season kicked off on October 12, episodes have rolled out every week. CBS has not announced the total number of episodes for this season. Notably, Season 1 had 10 episodes and Season 2 had 20.
Speaking with Deadline, showrunner Jonathan Tolins said:
“We’re also taking more risks with the format this season, finding ways to keep the show surprising. I’m finding that the show — especially with Carrie Preston’s incredible performance leading the way — can handle everything we throw at it.”
Carrie Preston leads as Elsbeth Tascioni, with Wendell Pierce back as Captain C.W. Wagner, as they are both regulars. Carra Patterson (Kaya Blanke) still shows up but not as often now, while Sullivan Jones and Daniel Oreskes round out the main cast. This season really leans into guest stars: Jaime Pressly, Andrew Rannells, Lindsey Normington, and Lana Condor (she plays a basketball coach’s much younger girlfriend), plus Sarah Steele returns as Marissa Gold from The Good Fight. Stephen Colbert pops up as a late-night host in the season premiere, and Julia Fox shows up later as a so-called ‘grief influencer.’
For Episode 6, Bunker Down, expect some familiar faces to play big roles, and meet Winnie, Judge Crawford’s widow. Elsbeth gets tangled in a case where a crisis manager disappears inside a billionaire’s fancy panic room, a place that is supposed to keep you safe but honestly just makes you question everything.
Elsbeth Season 3: What has happened so far, and what to expect in Episode 6

Elsbeth Season 3 dives into the tangled mess of New York’s political and social scene. The first episode throws Elsbeth into the wild world behind late-night TV, setting up a season that mixes media drama, politics, and a bit of celebrity sparkle. Stephen Colbert even pops in for the debut.
After that, things only get messier. Elsbeth finds herself dealing with a high-society murder, chasing down dirty campaign money, and wrestling with her own personal and professional hurdles. In Elsbeth Season 3 Episode 5, Poetic Justice, she is right in the middle of a scandal involving a dying poet and a mayoral candidate who will do anything to win.
Underneath it all, bigger secrets are brewing in the city. Meanwhile, her relationships with Captain Wagner and the rest of the team keep evolving. Old friends like Marissa Gold are back in her orbit, stirring up old and new feelings.
Now, Elsbeth Season 3 Episode 6, Bunker Down, promises a real nail-biter. Elsbeth is on the case after a crisis manager vanishes inside a billionaire’s panic room. The setup is perfect for her: twisty puzzles, high stakes, and plenty of chances for her quick wit to shine. She will cross paths with Winnie, Judge Crawford’s widow, which adds another layer of drama. And, like always, the show lets us in on the “how” and “who” early, but watching Elsbeth unravel the “why” is the real draw.
Expect paranoia, secrets, and motives getting dragged into the light. Threads from earlier episodes aren’t forgotten either, as Marissa Gold’s role keeps growing, and Elsbeth’s position in the NYPD gets even more interesting.
Elsbeth Season 3 Episode 6 holds onto everything fans love: sharp comedy, real emotion, and some biting social insight. It pushes the story toward bigger mid-season twists and deeper relationships. There is even a hint that Elsbeth might be headed for a romance, if recent clues are anything to go by.
