Elsbeth Season 3 brings forth yet another intriguing episode. It cannot be denied that the manner in which each episode of Elsbeth Season 3 brings forth fresh elements of humor and mystery combined in perfect proportions is truly worth appreciating. In this episode of Elsbeth Season 3, things get complicated after a unique case of murder. Elsbeth finds herself at the forefront of the complications once again.Please be prepared for the spoilers ahead.Elsbeth solves a unique case of concealers and locker rooms in Elsbeth Season 3 Episode 8Elsbeth Season 3, episode 8 starts with the death of Athletic Director, Dave Coppins. It is shown that Dave seems to be quite irritated by the involvement of Peyton in the workings of Coach W. He even tries to make Peyton understand that. He thinks that she should not get herself involved in the workings of the team. However, Peyton does not listen to him and leaves. Right then next moment, the scene cuts to two women coming out of a bar at night. One of the women finds Dave’s dead body and screams. The episode continues with Elsbeth and Charles speaking about Elsbeth’s name being spelled wrong in the New York Confidential. Charles then introduces Elsbeth to Detective Taylor. Detective Taylor tells them that they have identified Dave’s body. The cause of Dave’s death was a blunt force trauma to the head. Detective Taylor and Elsbeth then go to St. Ivan’s to investigate further into the case. Taylor says that the body also had frostbite, which draws Elsbeth’s attention. They enter the training room to investigate when Jason Roberts enters. He indicates that Choach W and Peyton might be involved in the issue, which makes Taylor begin to speak with them about the case.This episode of Elsbeth Season 3 continues with Elsbeth telling Taylor that, as Dave’s ID is in the locker, he must not have left the room. Elsbeth’s observation skills come in handy once again in this situation, as she continues to say that, as Dave has frostbite, he must have been having the ice therapy bath when he was killed. There was also a drop of blood beside the ice therapy bath, indicating that the killer must have missed the spot while cleaning. Taylor understands the theory and thinks that Peyton is the killer. Elsbeth, however, does not think that Peyton is the killer. As the episode continues, Peyton is brought in for questioning. However, she does not show any signs that she is the killer. Rather, she is extremely confident. Elsbeth keeps on telling Taylor and Charles that Peyton is too petite to be able to move Dave around after killing him. Charles gives Elsbeth the task of finding Peyton’s alibi, as she is not revealing it to them. She finds out from a video that a cab driver took Peyton to Long Island, which is far from the murder location.However, Taylor says that Peyton’s makeup was found on Dave’s clothes. She is brought in for further questioning. Elsbeth still believes that Peyton is not the killer, so she continues her search for her alibi. She finds out that Peyton went to find a fresh recruit. Elsbeth then begins to search the locker room of St. Ivans to see if it is wiretapped. Her judgment was right as they found a recording device in the room.The scene cuts to Peyton and Coach W getting ready. It is then shown that Coach W was applying concealer on his hands to hide his age spots. Peyton understands that he was involved in Dave’s murder right away. Taylor and Elsbeth then speak to Charles about Coach W’s rage, which caused him to take the action of murdering Dave.As this episode of Elsbeth Season 3 progresses towards the end, Coach W finds out that the police know that his alibi was wrong through the wiretapping device he fixed in the locker room. He also knows that the police know about the makeup that was found on Dave’s body. He then goes out to give a speech before his team goes out to play. Right after his team goes out to play, the police arrive to arrest Coach W. Elsbeth is able to solve yet another complex murder case with her quirky yet intellectual approach.
