Emily in Paris Season 5 was released on December 18, 2025. All ten episodes dropped at once on Netflix.

In Episode 4, Emily is running around Solitano, trying to pull off a super bougie influencer event to hype up Muratori’s new perfume, Muratori Paradiso. She is aiming for an intimate, exclusive vibe, just a few influencers, keep it chic. But someone goes rogue and starts livestreaming everything, and next thing you know, the village is crawling with tourists.

Meanwhile, over in Paris, Agence Grateau is having a meltdown. Their clients want all of them in Paris, otherwise they are out. And then there’s Sylvie, who is just trying to keep a disastrous ad film from completely tanking. She is in full crisis mode. It’s a typical day in Emily’s world, utter chaos, but make it fashion.

Emily in Paris Season 5 Episode 4 begins with a mix of hope and nerves in Rome. Emily has a plan: She wants to throw an influencer shindig in Solitano to hype up the Muratori perfumes. Marcello is not totally sold on the idea, though. He is stressed about his mom, Antonia, who is usually all about keeping Solitano off the map. But Antonia actually backs Emily up.

Everyone is trying to keep things upbeat, but you can see the tension buzzing, especially with an ad film still hanging over their heads and not finished. Antonia brings it up, and Sylvie says Giancarlo, the editor, just needs a little more time. Then Sylvie pulls Emily aside and confesses she hates how the film turned out, and she is seriously losing it. Emily steps in and tells Sylvie to go fix the film mess, and she will take care of the meetings. And just like that, Emily is calling the shots while Sylvie is kind of falling apart.

Later, Marcello plays tour guide and sneaks Emily off to this secret spot: a tiny door with a beautiful view of Saint Peter’s Basilica. He hypes her up for getting Antonia on board. Rome has got a whole new-chapter energy for Emily. Feels like she can actually breathe for once.

Back at work, chaos rules in Emily in Paris Season 5 Episode 4. Emily, Luc, and Julien are stuck handling a Paris video call because Sylvie is off doing who even knows at this point? Luc and Julien, thinking the clients bailed, start mouthing off, grumbling about everything. However, clients were there the whole time, just lurking on mute, and now they are majorly pissed. They declare that they are not doing this unless the team drags itself back to Paris. Rome is flashy, but Paris is giving off major FOMO vibes right now.

Sylvie, meanwhile, is losing her mind with the ad edits. Out of options, she calls Giancarlo but plays it off like she doesn’t actually need his help. He totally calls her out, and they get into it. She hangs up on him, but you can see she is rattled, no matter how much she pretends otherwise.

Meanwhile, on the “it’s complicated” front, Mindy and Alfie are back in bed in Emily in Paris Season 5 Episode 4. Mindy says that it’s just a fling. She jokes, but you know there’s more going on. Even after a cozy pajama night bonding with Emily, Mindy keeps the Alfie thing a secret, which just piles on the guilt.

And then Luc’s mess catches up with him hard. Marianne shows up at the convent, so now Luc is juggling lunch with her. Except Bianca, his Italian girlfriend, pops in. Both women dump him on the spot, and Bianca says she quits as a client, taking her business with her. Agence Grateau bleeds another major account in Emily in Paris Season 5 Episode 4.

Meanwhile, the Muratori influencer event starts like a dream. Emily is laying down the law: no live-streaming, no videos, just carefully curated Instagram shots. They have to protect Solitano’s peace. Except Princess Jane trashes the rules, goes live, and drops the town’s location. The one person who is supposed to help the brand is lighting the fuse for a disaster in Emily in Paris Season 5 Episode 4.

Fast-forward a bit: Emily catches Sylvie looking stressed (understatement), so she sneaks the ad film off Sylvie’s phone and sends it to herself. Sylvie doesn’t want it shown, but Emily lets it roll. It’s a total risk, but the crowd eats it up. Antonia is emotional, saying Umberto would have been proud. Sylvie is in shock, realizing maybe she is not as much of a screw-up as she thought.

Giancarlo bursts in, all wide-eyed at the applause, trying to snatch some credit. He admits Sylvie has talent, but his controlling vibe just makes her see things crystal clear. She dumps him and opts for her husband back in Paris. She offers Emily the chance to run the Rome office.

For like, five seconds, it all feels like they have won.

Then reality hits. The next morning, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Women’s Wear Daily, Tatler, everyone is talking about their campaign. The perfume is flying off the shelves. But then, the fallout. Solitano gets mobbed by tourists, all thanks to Princess Jane’s not-so-secret livestream. Antonia is livid. The town’s privacy is gone. She fires Agence Grateau in a heartbeat, and Emily’s desperate attempts to fix it go nowhere.

Meanwhile, Marcello drops his own bomb. Turns out he knew his mom was playing games with the JVMA deal. When the campaign blew up, JVMA gave their offer, and Marcello just kept it to himself. His excuse was that for one of them to win, the other had to lose. That one stings. Emily realizes the guy she was falling for never really had her back. She ghosts him, heartbroken.

Now Muratori and Bavassa are gone, Paris clients are pissed, Luc has been exposed, and Emily is a mess. Sylvie finally calls it: time to bail. The Rome office is done. Back to Paris.

Emily is crushed since she was this close to running Rome. Sylvie tries to soften the blow, telling her maybe she was just too good at her job, and nobody could have predicted this mess. Rome didn’t crash because Emily didn’t do a good job. It crashed because winning cost them more than anyone saw coming.

So Emily in Paris Season 5 Episode 4 wraps up with heartbreak, tough lessons, and a flight back to Paris, where all the unfinished drama is still waiting to explode.
