It wasn't the first time Camille schemed to get back Gabriel. She was so obsessed with keeping him close that it ultimately drove Sofia away, leading to the women's breakup. However, she finally tells the truth and suggests that she and Gabriel must adopt a baby.

Gabriel felt betrayed and shocked and refused the idea of parenting with her. With everything falling apart, Camille decides to leave Paris for a new chapter in her life. Fans won't see Camille in Emily in Paris Season 5, because the actress believed the story of her character had come full circle.
