Butterfly is a spy thriller series that is created by Steph Cha and Ken Woodruff. The show is based on the Boom! Studios graphic novel series created by Arash Amel and features Daniel Dae Kim, Piper Perabo, and others.
The show focuses on David Jung (Kim), who is a former US intelligence operative and how his life changes when his past comes back and a trained agent, Rebecca (Reina Hardesty), follows him all the way to South Korea, where he now lives.
