Euphoria Season 3 has cast star Natasha Lyonne in a new role

The Euphoria Season 3 production is on track for a spring 2026 release. Following the 2025 Emmys, it was revealed that after the long forced hiatus after Season 2, the show was finally aiming for a spring 2026 release. Production has been underway since the start of 2025, with most leading actors, such as Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, and Sydney Sweeney, reprising their roles for the third season.

According to reports, many new actors have been added to the cast of the HBO teen drama, including Natasha Lyonne, in an undisclosed role. This revelation comes in the wake of updates regarding some of the main cast wrapping up their scenes on the season.

The HBO teen drama has always had one of the greatest cast ensembles, with exceptionally talented actors such as Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Alexa Demie, Eric Dane, and even Sydney Sweeney. However, the new additions to the cast make it seem like the third season will be bigger and better than anything before.

Colman Domingo previously revealed in a conversation with Deadline that Sam Levinson is taking some "big swings" with the third season, and even Levinson has referred to the season as a "film noir," which will

"explore what it means to be an individual with principles in a corrupt world"

in a conversation with Elle. One cannot be faulted for having some very high expectations for the upcoming season.

Euphoria Season 3, it appears, is more than ready to handle these expectations as another exceptionally talented actor joins the ensemble. Natasha Lyonne is set to join the cast alongside Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, and Sydney Sweeney. The 1979-born actor is known for her roles in Russian Doll, Orange Is the New Black, and Poker Face. Lyonne will be joined by the likes of Eli Roth, Trisha Paytas, Sam Trammell, and Danielle Deadwyler. A host of new cast members is set to join the ensemble.

This news comes in the wake of reports that some of the major stars have wrapped up their scenes for Euphoria Season 3. Jacob Elordi, who plays Nate Jacobs on the show, is one of the stars revealed to have wrapped filming three weeks ago. Jacobs also reveals that the third season is completely shot in VistaVision, a format used in projects such as Dune: Chapter Two.

The anticipation and excitement of Euphoria Season 3, which will feature an unspecified time jump (rumored to be a 5-year jump), is rising by the minute. The time jump will find the characters out of high school and more separated than in the past two seasons. Nevertheless, Elordi reveals that everything that he has seen of the season looks "really good."

It was previously confirmed that Euphoria Season 3 is aiming for a spring 2026 release, but there is no confirmed release date as of now.
