Now that Jacob Elordi has also talked about his return in Euphoria Season 3 and how the new chapter will engage fans, the excitement has heightened. Filming also began in January this year and is still underway.

The Kissing Booth star expressed great regard for the show’s creator and said:

"[creator Sam Levinson] Constructed something that’s incredibly clever and cinematic. I think people are really going to like it."

Elordi will return as Nate, one of the main characters from Season 2. Nate was in a love triangle with Sydney Sweeney's Cassie and Alexa Demie's Maddy. Being Maddy's ex, he began a secret se*ual relationship with Cassie, and when Maddy found out, they had a messy confrontation.

Season 2 is packed with drama, friendship, and betrayal, and it will continue in the next season. However, Elordi didn't reveal exactly what the plot is going to be, but he did mention that it's "like FBI files" and fans will love it.

The third season will advance in time: the characters will be shown several years after their high school days. According to Zendaya, Rue’s story could now challenge her sobriety and the adult life she is trying to rebuild.

Colman Domingo commented that fans will "find our characters in other circumstances," as they're no longer the same people they were in Season 2. The actor also mentioned in another interview that:

"I think he’s going to take some really big swings actually with Season 3. He’s someone who, once there’s an expectation of the show."

Domingo continued:

"He wants to smash that expectation because he truly is a consummate artist and he wants to make sure he’s telling some really compelling storytelling."

Not only this, but the creator, Sam Levinson, also said that the tone of the new season will be "film noir." Even though the exact plot remains hidden, the cast and creator of Euphoria Season 3 have teased enough to ignite curiosity among fans.
