When Variety asked Sydney Sweeney if there might be any truth to the speculations, she said,“I can’t. [Seven-second pause.] I don’t know. [Ten-second pause.] To be honest, I don’t know all the Bond rumors, but I’ve always been a huge fan of the franchise, and I’m excited and curious to see what they do with it,”Sweeney has neither confirmed nor denied the rumors, but the way she took multiple pauses while speaking on the subject might mean something we're yet to know. We cannot confirm that she is indeed the next James Bond Girl, but there is a slight chance, given how little she spoke about the subject and the way she paused when talking about it.
