Euphoria shares a new look at Maude Apatow’s Lexi in Season 3 with a sneak peek of the script

With HBO dropping a first look at Euphoria Season 3, it cannot be denied that the anticipation for the upcoming season is now at an all-time high. The teaser dropped certain hints about the upcoming episodes of the new season.

Euphoria also dropped a new look of Maude Apatow’s character, Lexi, on their X, formerly Twitter, handle. It can be understood that things are definitely going to get quite interesting, especially for Lexi.

New look of Lexi in Euphoria Season 3

In the HBO teaser, along with the new look that Euphoria’s official handle of Maude Apatow’s Lexi is definitely creating a distinct level of intrigue. After the events of the second season, where things definitely took a turn with Lexi’s play, Lexi is now not just a character hidden behind the curtain with a distinct observation skill.

She now uses her observation as her power to write her own story. She is not afraid to take the stage and not be hidden by the shadow of her sister. Hence, this turn of events in her life is definitely going to be further explored in Euphoria Season 3. In the X post, there is a dialogue highlighted in which Lexi says, “I can’t abuse my power”.

This dialogue is definitely resonating with a layer of intensity. In the HBO teaser, Lexi’s presence is also quite different than the way we have seen in the previous seasons of the series. There is definitely a possibility that Lexi is now not afraid of the challenges that are thrown at her.

Sam Levinson already indicated that for the third season of Euphoria, there will be a distinct time jump. The main reason that the creators decided to add a time jump for the next season of the series is the refusal to add “30-year-old high school students”. The students are now “out of the safety net of school” so things are definitely going to get quite serious.

Euphoria Season 3 will take place five years after the events of the second season, as Levinson pointed out that it “felt like a natural place”. He also shed light on the storylines that the upcoming season will focus on. Rue in the second season was in a difficult situation. In the third season, she now needs to pay her debt to drug dealer Laurie. Rue will be finding “some very innovative ways to pay it off”.

However, a crucial aspect of the storyline for the third season of this series is the relationship between Nate and Cassey. There is going to be an “unforgettable night” in the upcoming season of this Sam Levinson series. The two of them are now engaged and will also be getting married. So, things are definitely going to get complicated, considering the events of the second season. There are multiple questions that this season needs to answer after the events of the second season.

The stage is now all set for more intense situations that the characters have to go through in Season 3 of this series. They will have to face the consequences of their actions, as now they do not have anyone to “swoop in and save” them.
