Hulu is soon coming up with a Prison Break reboot. The show will be set in the same universe as the original series, but will focus on a new set of characters instead of Michael Scofield, played by Wentworth Miller, and Lincoln Burrows, played by Dominic Purcell.
The show initially aired five seasons and a television film on Fox between 2005 and 2017 and told the story of Burrows, a wrongfully convicted man awaiting the death penalty, who is helped by his brother, Scofield, in escaping the prison.
Though Miller and Purcell are not returning for the revival, Hulu has announced a list of fresh cast members who will be seen in the show, which is bound to leave the audience excited. Here is all you need to know about the actors who have joined the Prison Break reboot so far.
Prison Break reboot: Every cast member confirmed so far
The first set of cast members of the Prison Break reboot were announced in March 2025, three months after the show had been picked up by Hulu. At the time, Lukas Gage, Emily Browning, and Drake Rodger were confirmed to be playing the main characters in the show.
Gage is known for his roles in the shows Angelyne, You, Euphoria, and The White Lotus. In the Hulu crime drama, he will play a politician named Jackson. The character will be running a congressional campaign in the show.
Browning is an Australian actress famous for playing Laura Moon in the show American Gods and Katie Harwood in the film Ghost Ship. In the Prison Break revival, she will star as Cassidy Collins, who works at a dangerous prison. Before becoming a corrections officer, Collins was a soldier in the army.
Rodger previously starred in The Winchesters and was recently seen in Prime Video’s Motorheads. In the upcoming series, he will portray Tommy, an inmate who has been kept at a dangerous prison for 10 years.
Other series regulars in the project include Mayor of Kingstown star Clayton Cardenas, Into The Dark star Georgie Flores, White Men Can't Jump star Myles Bullock, Killer Book Club star Priscilla Delgado, and Teen Wolf star JR Bourne.
Cardenas will feature as a deadly inmate named Ghost, Flores will star as a corrections officer in training, Andrea, Bullock will star as another inmate, Darius “Red” Lewis, Delgado will portray a female inmate named Cheyenne, and Bourne will play Junior, a man who has been traumatized after an old prison break wreaked havoc in his town.
The guest stars in the show include Donal Logue as Holt Keane, a man who has lost his family; Margo Martindale as Jessica Strand, the prison’s warden; Lili Taylor as Carole Mullen, a mother who is determined to find out what is happening at the prison; and Ray McKinnon as Joe Dahl, a private investigator.
The Prison Break reboot is being written by Elgin James and produced by 20th Television. The executive producers include James, Dawn Olmstead, Paul Scheuring, Marty Adelstein, and Neal Moritz. The plot details and release date of the show have not been revealed yet.
