Disney's Phineas and Ferb revival, 10 years after the show's original end, is closer than ever to its June 6, 2025, release. With only a week left for the new season and episodes to start premiering, it is going to be an incredibly exciting summer, witnessing the Flynn-Fletcher brothers come together for another summer full of adventures, excitement, and a whole lot of fun.

While the brothers keep coming up with their adventures, and Candace keeps trying to get their parents to catch her brothers in the act, there will also be many major guest stars on the Phineas and Ferb show. Here's what we know.

Phineas and Ferb is one of Disney's most-watched shows, with more than 650 million streaming hours globally. So, it makes sense that the platform is renewing the show with its classic quirky and musical theme. Most of the actors who voiced these characters back when it ran for four seasons are rejoining the show, but several new guest stars are also going to be joining.

A whole slew of guest stars are lined up for cameos on the show; however, in the first few episodes, Jonathan Banks (known for his character in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul) is revealed to be voicing a driving instructor, who will be overseeing Candace's driving test. Dan Povenmire, one of the Phineas and Ferb creators, revealed what it was like working with Banks in a recent conversation with Screen Rant:

"The thing I told Jonathan when he came in was, as much as I love Breaking Bad and all that sort of stuff, I always remember him having been thrown through the buffet in Beverly Hills Cop, standing there with all that food and stuff on his face. And he told us about shooting that scene, which was really fun. Every time I see him, I think of that guy, and that expression, and how funny it was without trying to be a gag. His reaction was just very real."

Jeff Marsh, the other creator, added:

"I remember him from Buckaroo Banzai, where he played the hospital employee where John Lithgow was working. I've been watching him and loving him for years, so that was really an honor to have him come in. And it's always fun for people that, in a completely different way, come in and play around with us in animation."

The Jonathan Banks the creators are talking about sounds completely different from the one we've seen in Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul. Marsh expands on this when he talks about actors for whom a fun role where they can play around is completely different than anything else they've done in their careers:

"We've had so many people who've said yes to us. And sometimes it's been solely for the fact that — I remember one of my friends, our kids went to school together, and he came and did a voice and he said, 'This is the only thing I've done that I can show my children, because I usually play these really horrific, awful characters, killers and whatnot.' He says, 'I'm just so happy to come in and play and do silly things.'"

If Phineas and Ferb stick to the emotions that the first four seasons and the countless movies managed to evoke in fans, then Season 5 might end up being just as memorable an experience as the rest of the canon.
