Created by Todd Harris, Eyes of Wakanda is an animated anthology miniseries that is based on the Marvel Comics location of Wakanda. The show is a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and is the first show in the Phase Six of the MCU. Eyes of Wakanda premiered on August 1, 2025, and has four episodes. The series is a part of the sacred timeline of the MCU and connects the show with the overall franchise.
Eyes of Wakanda is about the Hatut Zaraze, who are Wakandan warriors and must carry out dangerous missions and protect their homeland of Wakanda. The show covers a vast period of time and has stellar visuals. Fans of the MCU must watch this one and here’s a cast and character guide for the show.

Many familiar voices will be heard by the viewers as Cress Williams, Winnie Harlow, and others make up the voices behind the characters in the show.
Winnie Harlow as Noni – Noni is a candidate for the secret service of Wakanda, the Dora Milaje, who are also called the Hatut Zaraze. Even though she is a disgraced former member of the team, she must deal with The Lion and bring back the stolen artifacts that he has taken.
Cress Williams as The Lion – The Lion is claimed to be a former member of the Wakandan Royal Guard who went rogue and stole technology from Wakanda to build his kingdom. He is now a pirate and Cress Williams comes from the Black Lightning fame and his character will be an antagonist.
Jona Xiao as Iron Fist – Fans of the character will finally see him back on screen in an animated and female avatar. Therefore, Jona Xiao will voice the role.
Steve Toussaint as Kuda – In an interview with EW, creator Todd Harris mentioned that the character will be authoritative and have strong principles and devotion. Steve Toussaint is known for his role as Corlys Velaryon in the House of the Dragon and fans can expect a strong performance.
Anika Noni Rose as Black Panther – In the same interview, Harris mentioned that Anika has put in a lot of hard work into her character and that she has a critical role to play in Eyes of Wakanda. Black Panther is the queen of Wakanda from 500 years in the future.
Patricia Belcher as Akeya – She is the eldest daughter of the Dora Milaje.
Adam Gold as Achilles - The Greek hero of the Trojan War.
Additionally, Erik Killmonger Stevens makes a non-speaking cameo in the show.
