Fallout Season 2 Episode 4 recap: Max's dilemma and Lucy embracing a new habit

Fallout Season 2 Episode 4 sets the stage with an intense atmosphere for the upcoming complications. Lucy and the Ghoul’s interaction in this episode also leaves a lasting impact as Lucy is able to understand the Ghoul’s true nature on a deeper scale.

From the beginning of this episode till the end, there are revelations along with troubles that the characters go through.

Max's dilemma and Lucy embracing a new habit in Fallout Season 2

At the beginning of Fallout Season 2 Episode 4, there is a flashback scene with Cooper Howard. His malfunctioning armor creates problems for him, which he is unable to evade. However, Cooper and Whiteknife have to move forward with the mission despite the malfunctioning armor. Cooper assures that he is right behind Charles when he hears a dangerous sound.

Right then, he comes across some soldiers who begin to shoot at him. His already malfunctioning armor does not help him much. Before the attackers are able to do anything, a Deathclaw arrives at the location and demolishes them. Cooper watches the deathclaw attacking them, waiting for his demise. However, it does not attack him and leaves.

As this episode of Fallout Season 2 progresses, Maximus finds out that he is being tracked. He tries to make them understand that they need to follow him. He also tells Thaddeus that he needs to wear the suit so that he can distract because otherwise the kids will be dead.

Thaddeus accepts and tries to exit the factory. However, he gets stuck continuously adding to the humor. On the other hand, Lucy finally wakes up after being given the medicines. The Ghoul brought her in so that she could be helped. Lucy asks the people who helped her about their identity.

They tell her that they are the New California Republic. They then begin to tell her about their situation and how it turned out the way it did. Lucy then tells them about the person she is looking for. She tells them that she is looking for someone who hurt a lot of people.

Lucy and the Ghoul leave the place and continue on their path. At Vault 33, Reg decides to fill the water jugs. They are facing a water shortage; however, Reg is not concerned about it. He wants to get the water and the resources for his club without any consideration. Lucy and the Ghoul walk towards their journey when Lucy begins to feel itchy all over.

The Ghoul points out that it was because she is now addicted to drugs. He adds that Lucy has two options: one is to “muscle” her way through it, which includes the pain and vomiting for 4 to 5 days, or continue using drugs. Lucy then decides to take the option of doing drugs. As this episode of Fallout Season 2 continues, Max and Thaddeus reach the location.

Max is informed by Dane that the Elder Clerics are looking for him. Max then tells Dane that he is going to kill Quintas. In Vault 32, Woody takes a wrong turn and ends up finding Davey. Davey tells him that he would also want to go back to Vault 33. Betty and Steph discuss the evacuated cryo pods, and no sign of Norman anywhere.

They also discuss the water crisis that they are facing. This episode of Fallout Season 2 continues with Lucy and the Ghoul in Las Vegas. The Ghoul tells Lucy that there is something off at the location. The Ghoul tells Lucy that they should go through the detour as it is safe. However, Lucy decides to go through with the danger.

Lucy then begins to attack the Elvis-dressed ghouls. The Ghoul is truly impressed by this distinct side of Lucy, which he did not see before. Thaddeus is trying his best to keep up with the pretension; however, he is failing miserably. Dane, on the other hand, takes the children and tells them to stay hidden until the shooting stops. Max reaches Quintus’ office and tells him that he killed the emissary from the Commonwealth.

Max then points the gun at Quintus while Quintus tells him that killing him will not bring any change to this world. Quintus then begins to shoot at Max, which Max was not prepared for, causing him to hide. This episode of Fallout Season 2 ends with Dane giving Max the cold fusion to take it away. As Max and Thaddeus run away from the Brotherhood, blasts keep happening.
