Family Guy Season 24 is approaching soon, and the show has recently revealed more about the upcoming season at San Diego Comic Con 2025. Family Guy, an animated sitcom from creator Seth MacFarlane, first aired back in 1999 and has been entertaining fans for over two decades. The show follows the misadventures of the Griffin family, Peter, Lois, Meg, Chris, Stewie, and their talking dog, Brian, in the quirky town of Quahog, Rhode Island.
Known for its experimental humor and quick gags, Family Guy continues to be a popular show. Now, Family Guy Season 24 is on the way, and while an official trailer is yet to come, a sneak peek at the upcoming season was shown at San Diego Comic Con and also posted on Family Guy's official social media accounts. Season 24 will officially premiere on Fox in 2026.
What to expect from Family Guy Season 24
Family Guy Season 24 is shaping up to be even bolder with its approach. The upcoming season will feature a Lord of the Rings parody called 'The Lord of the Earrings', an episode related to the Emmys, Peter taking over an indigenous family's home, and much more.
But one of the biggest shocks is that Stewie and Lois will finally share a real conversation. In the new sneak peek revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, the two are high on the couch, staring at the television screen, waiting for the DIRECTV sign to hit the corner when Lois says,
''It's close to hitting that corner.''
Stewie follows that up by saying,
''Yeah it's gonna hit it on the next one.''
Lois then asks, surprisingly,
''You can talk?''

Stewie answers,
''You can understand me?''
He then says right away,
“I’ve been waiting a long time to say this,”
“Here goes: Please stop buying the cheap baby wipes. They tear me up!”
Lois sighs,
''Oh great, your first words to me are grocery critique. Hey, guess what? I think ‘Baby Shark’ is a terrible song. And Dora sucks!”
That funny and awkward exchange is just a small glimpse of what’s coming in Family Guy Season 24. This season is packed with wild parodies and new stories. The Lord of the Rings parody features Herbert as Gandalf and Chris as Frodo. Peter, true to form, accidentally kills an angel in a shockingly violent moment and later lands on Bill Belichick’s much younger girlfriend after a skydiving accident.

Meg also gets some wild moments this season. She attends Beetlejuice the Musical next to politician Lauren Boebert, which goes downhill fast. Later, she and her friends try to make contact with the ghost of Jeffrey Epstein.
In addition to the regular season, there are two new specials on the way. The Halloween episode, titled A Little Fright Music will be released on Hulu on 6th October 2025. In this special, Brian and Stewie try to create a hit Halloween song, while Peter and the guys find out that lying to kids on Halloween can have dangerous consequences.
A Christmas special is also coming, though the release date and synopsis are yet to be revealed. It will also stream on Hulu later in the year. The original voice cast is all returning for Family Guy Season 24. Seth MacFarlane continues voicing Peter, Brian, and Stewie. Alex Borstein is back as Lois, Mila Kunis returns as Meg, and Seth Green voices Chris.
Family Guy Season 24 comes out on Fox in 2026, with episodes available to stream on Hulu shortly after they air.
