SNL Season 51 Episode 9: Ariana Grande and Marcello Hernández choreograph a group of students in their latest skit

One of the skits featured in the latest Saturday Night Live Season 51 episode saw Marcello Hernández, Ariana Grande, Bowen Yang, and more artists.

The skit, titled, Dancing 101 ft. Ariana Grande showed four students and two instructors. While waiting for their instructors, Ariana and Marcello, the students talked about how "amazing" they were. Soon, the two arrived in synced footsteps and synced actions.

"Welcome everyone to Dance 101. Let's get started, 'coz we don't have a lot of time," they said.

One of the students on SNL noted that the class was supposed to last for three hours. Ariana replied that it wasn't the case. It meant that it would start at 3. Soon, they got started with their first lesson. It was "fast fast fast slow."

Listening to that, one of the students asked about the "fast fast fast slow" part. Marcello said that it was the dance technique that all pop stars used.

"It starts out fast, and then you get slow," he said.

He then told the students to watch and learn from his and Ariana's dance moves. They danced to their unique "fast fast fast...slow" rhythm. They showed multiple dance moves to their students to learn. Marcello asked whether their question was solved. But that wasn't the case.

A student played by Bowen Yang understood what their instructors were trying to say.

"What? It's so easy. It's fast fast fast...slow. It's cocaine then red wine. Like this (dances to the syned dance steps) stating cocaine cocaine cocaine red wine red wine," said Bowen Yang.

Seeing his technique, both the dance instructors applauded for him. SNL's Ariana said that for his efforts, he would get a forehead kiss. She and Marcello then blew him kisses, which he caught and received on his forehead.

One of the students said that they were under the impression that they would be learning "actual dance moves."

"Oh, I'm sorry. Who's the expert here? You with zero experience or us with some (experience)?" asked Marcello.

Further in their dance lesson on SNL, Marcello told the students that whatever they wanted to say, they should say it with their "body." It was because dance was the "universal language."

Marcello showed a dance move as he expressed his hunger. Ariana was next. She expressed that she wasn't "vaccinated" while dancing. Listening to that, one of the students asked whether she was not vaccinated. However, Ariana responded that they couldn't ask that.

"I met a girl, and she had a baby, so I left," sang and danced Marcello.

The two dance instructors then asked their students to express themselves through their own dance moves.
