Titled Gaijin, the upcoming episode is the second part of the two-part series finale. In the previous episode, the team came across the case of a US student who was murdered in Budapest. The agents found out that the case was similar to a homicide that happened in Japan, which pointed toward an international serial killer.

The killer is still on the loose, and the Fly Team will be heading to Japan to track him down and seek justice for his victims. Since the show was canceled abruptly while the fourth season was already on air, we might not get a satisfying conclusion to all the plot points in the series finale.

Nevertheless, depicting an action-packed operation in Japan does seem like a decent ending for the series. CBS has unveiled the official logline for the finale, which reads:

“The Fly Team discovers they’re on the trail of a serial killer, taking the investigation, and Mitchell, to Japan to put an end to the international killing spree, on part two of the two-part series finale of FBI: International.”

The main cast members are going to be seen playing their roles for one last time in the upcoming episode, including Jesse Lee Soffer as Wesley "Wes" Mitchell, Christina Wolfe as Amanda Tate, Vinessa Vidotto as Cameron Vo, Carter Redwood as Andre Raines, and Eva-Jane Willis as Megan "Smitty". There will also be some guest appearances as well, as the agents team up with Japanese detectives to solve the case.
