"Feels like the perfect time": Celebrity IOU's Rachel Brosnahan opens up about their recently renovated house

The recently released Celebrity IOU episode saw Rachel Brosnahan teaming up with the Property Brothers. It was to renovate her best friend's parents' house. While on their way to the venue, Rachel opened up to twin brothers Drew and Jonathan.

They also talked about Rachel's recent role as Lois Lane in the newest Superman movie, among other things. While sharing about her best friend and her parents, Rachel shared that they had a really difficult couple of years.

Hence, she felt that it was the "perfect time" to renovate their kitchen and help them feel a little bit more comfortable, safe, and at home.

"They've had a really, really difficult last couple of years. They've had enough once-in-a-lifetime health issues for many lifetimes. Thankfully, they're coming out the other side of this period, and so it feels like the perfect time just to be able to spread a little bit of extra love in the house the way that they do," shared Rachel Brosnahan.

With Celebrity IOU's latest season, fans witnessed an emotional renovation project from Rachel Brosnahan. It was for her best friend Carly, for whom she had Property Brothers with her.

As Rachel and the twin brothers drove to meet Carly, they mentioned that Rachel's most epic role would be renovating Carly's parents' place.

"So, Carly and I have been friends for 15 years now, but we are more than friends; we are chosen family. And, obviously, I've gotten to know Ron and Robin (Carly's dad and stepmom). They've come to every event for The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel, both in New York and here. They've been some of my biggest champions and supporters."

Listening to Rachel, Drew said that it was "impressive" for him:

"It just shows how big a heart you have. I understand somebody giving back to their bestie, but you're not just giving back to your bestie. You're giving back to your bestie's parents," added Drew.

He said it was "pretty cool." Celebrity IOU star Rachel also mentioned how Carly's family has been going through various health issues and more challenges. Rachel said that it like a "perfect time" to share a "little bit of extra love" in the house.

She also said that when Carly's parents see the Property Brothers, they would "absolutely die." Soon they reached Carly's home, where they met her. Her parents were out for 30 minutes, and soon they also arrived.

Celebrity IOU star Rachel, the Property Brothers, and Carly gave them a surprise and revealed the renovation. Rachel got emotional while reflecting on how supportive they have been to her and Carly.

She also talked about how they had welcomed her into their lives and into their family. Rachel confessed that it felt like a "little bit" of opportunity to give something back to them.
