Love Island USA Season 7's latest episode introduced new Casa Amor cast members on the show. Show host Ariana Madix sent the female Islanders to the Casa Amor part of the villa, while male Islanders stayed in the original villa.
Soon, she introduced five female cast members after the kissing competition. Later in the episode, Nic had a private conversation with a few of the newly joined bombshells. One of them was Jaden Duggar from Los Angeles, California.
During their private chat, when she mentioned she was an investigator, Nic said he liked "secretive" person. Seeing how it might have come off right away, he corrected himself and said he liked a "mysterious" person. Witnessing Nic's behavior with Jaden during their first chat, fans criticized the Islanders.

Love Island USA Season 7 aired the latest episode 19 on June 23, 2025. It featured new cast members added for the show's Casa Amor Twist. One of them was a female cast member, Jaden, a corporate investigator.
Later that night, Nic requested to have a private "convo" with her. While walking away from their fellow Islanders, Jaden asked Nic how she knew that they would have a private chat.
"Because I've been looking at you all day," responded Nic.
Listening to him, Love Island USA star Jaden said she wasn't sure if he was looking at her, or if she was going "crazy."
"I was kind of looking at you trying to see if you were looking at me," said Nic.
She asked Nic about his profession, being a nurse, and opened up to him. She revealed having type one diabetes.
When Nic asked her about what she did for a living, Jaden said she was an investigator. He was surprised to know that and asked her more about it.
"Like FBI kind of? I like a secretive person," said Nic.
Seeing Jaden's reaction to being the "secretive" person, Nic rephrased his sentence and said, "mysterious." Love Island USA star Nic said he was excited to meet her. In his private confession, Nic admitted that Sierra has been in the "back of his mind." He added that Jaden was someone with whom he "locked" eyes.
He also told Jaden that she had that "crazy look" in her eyes, which he loved in girls' eyes. Seeing his behavior and how their private chat was going, fans online criticized Nic's behavior.
