It felt very natural to include them, but it was always in the forefront of our minds to make sure that they were servicing our characters.”

When asked whether the fans could count on those original characters coming back again in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, Holland replied, "Definitely. Yes."

He pointed out that the show’s origins are in multi-camera comedy. He specifically mentioned the theatrical experience of shooting in front of a live audience, a style that not only increases the laugh factor but also improves timing, especially when well-known characters appear as guests.
