Fire Country Season 4 Episode 2 will air on CBS on October 24. The network's beloved fire procedural, created by Max Thieriot, finally returned with its fourth chapter with an intense and tragic premiere.

The Season 4 premiere picked up after that shocking Season 3 finale, which had Walter, Sharon, and Vince's fates hanging in the balance. As previously confirmed, Fire Country has made two major cast changes in Season 4, which were materialized in the premiere itself.

It remains to be seen how the show will continue to explore Bode's journey and the story of his Edgewater community amid these major absences.

Fire Country Season 4 marks the return of the main ensemble cast led by Thieriot as Bode Leone and followed by Kevin Alejandro, Jordan Calloway, Jules Latimer, and Diane Farr. Series regulars Stephanie Arcila (Gabriela Perez) and Billy Burke (Vincent "Vince" Leone) have exited the show. Arcila made a brief guest appearance in the Season 4 premiere.

What happened in the Fire Country Season 4 premiere?

The Fire Country Season 4 premiere was a brutal outing for Bode, Sharon, and Station 42, who lost their Battalion Chief, Vince Leone. While Bode and Sharon blamed themself for Vince's death, Station 42 stood without a leader. Sharon was infuriated that everybody was being disrespectful and discussing job prospects at her husband's funeral, and she dismissed Station 42.

Since Sharon was in her mourning period, Station 42's suspension continued well over two months. When a brutal fire demanded all hands on deck, Bode convinced Jake to help their community and Station 42 unbenched themselves. The final moments of the premiere revealed that Chief Vince Leone's enemy, Brett Richards, will be Station 42's new battalion chief.

What can you expect in Fire Country Season 4 Episode 2?

However, Brett's leadership is bound to create rifts between the team and Station 42 will face challenges in their teamwork. How will this big leadership change affect their capabilities? Will Station 42 be able to overcome its differences and function as a cohesive team during the Wildfire operation? These questions will be answered in the upcoming episode.
