Marvel reveals first look at Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 starring Charlie Cox and Krysten Ritter

Daredevil: Born Again, Season 2, is set to be an intense chapter for Charlie Cox's Murdock. The end of the first season found Matt facing off against Wilson Fisk, who is effectively the most powerful man in all of New York. As the mayor of the city, Fisk has outlawed vigilantism and has an anti-vigilante squad hunting down Matt and other vigilantes.
Despite being a lone wolf survivor, Matt's Daredevil is forced to look for help, knowing he cannot take down Fisk alone. The end of Season 1 found Daredevil assembling his own team against Fisk without revealing his team members. As a revolutionary, Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is going to find Matt in much darker and more dangerous situations than he's ever faced off. Per Winderbaum, the season will have "a lot of heavy themes" and "a lot of dark moments and tragic events." He added:
"Daredevil is a revolutionary in this season. He's a rebel and it's fun to see him go up against the power of the city."

Daredevil's team is set to bring back many exciting aspects of the Marvel universe together, especially Kristen Ritter's Jessica Jones. Daredevil and Jessica Jones have previously worked together in Netflix's 2017 series, The Defenders.
"Just by the nature of who Jessica is and who Matt is, they both give as much as they get. I'm not sure we were aware of it when we were shooting it. So we've been really waiting for this opportunity for so long now to put these two on screen together and have more fun with them."
Daredevil and Jones' chemistry was especially electric, and fans seemed to love the duo together. Daredevil: Born Again, Season 2, is bringing back that electric chemistry once again. Charlie Cox explains:
"We both talked about it being important to play some of the hits, as it were, make sure that we have that same dynamic. Tongue in cheek, take the piss out of each other, but also get down to business and make sure that we're serving the story appropriately."

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will take us back into the intense and claustrophobic world that is New York City under Fisk's rule, and one misstep could mean watching your loved ones disappear, so Matt has his biggest challenge up against him.
