First looks of Futurama Season 13 reveals more chaos and adventure in the latest instalment of the animated series

Matt Groening created the animated science fiction comedy series Futurama. The plot focuses around Fry, a deliveryman who awakens 1,000 years later and joins a small team that includes Leela and Bender to work for Planet Express.

Fans won't have to wait around for week after week to watch Futurama's 13th season, and according to Hulu, all ten episodes will be made available simultaneously on September 15, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. PT/8:00 p.m. ET.

Compared to the prior seasons, which were released one episode at a time, this is a significant shift. Fans now have the option to view the entire season at once if they so choose. In order to provide viewers additional options to enjoy the show, FXX will simultaneously screen two episodes every week beginning on the same day.

First-look photographs from the season were just revealed, revealing familiar characters in new scenarios, and Bender is seen wearing a bright dress and going boldly down the street.

Fry and Leela are hooked inside a high-tech apparatus, and Nixon's head in a jar returns. One picture even depicts Dr. Zoidberg flying upwards, as the teaser suggested. These early images give fans a taste of what's to come and fuel their anticipation for what's next.

The new season picks off where Season 12 left off, with a multiverse twist and a final episode in which the gang becomes caught in a strange reality loop. In another universe, the rest of the crew survived, but a version of Fry and Leela died, and they are now traveling between numerous worlds, much like a space ghost ship. This new plot allows for grander adventures as well as some of the show's most memorable emotional moments.

More mayhem, humor, and emotion are promised in season 13.
