Captioned "Scorched earth. Shock and awe, Blood and bone", the key art is two posters. The first poster finds Karl Urban's Billy Butcher as he stands on what looks like the rubble of Vought Tower. How we get from there to Butcher standing in the rubble of the Vought tower, only time will tell. The second poster finds Antony Starr's Homelander in space, and he is floating over a literal planet that has been scorched to hell and is on the path to destruction as Homelander watches it burn. The extremity of this moment is beyond comprehension and just goes to show the bloodbath that The Boys Season 5 is set to be.Los Angeles Premiere Of Amazon Prime Video's "Gen V" Season 2 - Source: GettyTalking about the direction that The Boys Season 5 is set to go in, creator Eric Kripke revealed that the final season will examine how power and vengeance have the power to take away humanity, and if it can be held onto even in the worst moments of violence. Here's what he said when asked if the final season will find Butcher losing his humanity in his quest to destroy Homelander:"It’s a big concern… In many ways, it’s a show about humanity and how power, vengeance, and violence take it away. And so, how are you able to hold onto it? And we’ll just have to see.
