First official trailer for The End of an Era, the 6-part Taylor Swift docuseries, is released

The End of an Era, the six-part docuseries, takes us backstage to one of the most monumental and record-breaking tours of all time.

Set to premiere with its first two episodes on December 12, Taylor Swift and Disney+ revealed a brand-new look at the official trailer for the docuseries.

The trailer refers to the docuseries as "an unprecedented look," taking us "behind the scenes" of The Eras Tour. Focusing on the final show of the Eras Tour, Taylor Swift talks about everything that came together to make the tour a reality and a bonding experience for 70,000 people every single night that it was performed.

"The End of an Era is an illuminating docuseries on Disney+ that gives an intimate look at Taylor’s life as her tour made headlines and thrilled fans around the world. In addition, the series features Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Travis Kelce, Ed Sheeran, and Florence Welch, along with her band, dancers, crew, and family members – offering never-before-seen insight into what it took to create a phenomenon. Two episodes will debut each week beginning December 12."

Taylor Swift unveils official trailer for the Disney+ docuseries, The End of an Era

The six-part docuseries, the first two episodes of which will be released on December 12, is a visual representation of the all-access pass to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. In the official trailer, as unveiled by the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter on Good Morning America, Swift takes us through everything that went into bringing the tour, a bonding experience for thousands of fans, to life.

"I'm very aware of mysterious forces of play that I will never have any control over. This show created a bonding experience for 70000 people all at once. There's something very special about that," the narration at the beginning of the trailer says.

Swift finds herself looking back at how the idea of the Eras Tour took root in her mind, even before any part of it became a reality. The singer-songwriter explains:

"I came up with the idea of The Eras Tour about 2 years before the show started. I wanted to over serve the fans, in terms of the amount of songs they were gonna hear and how far I was gonna push myself. My main goal is to give something to the fans that they didn't expect."

The trailer finds Taylor looking back at how her main goal for the Eras Tour was to give the fans everything they could ever dream of, and more. This passion is more than apparent in every single aspect of the momentous Eras Tour:

"All the dancers, the choreographers, the production designers, the crew, the entire band, every person is the best one in the entire industry," Swift says in the trailer.
