After years of waiting and delay, the first poster for the Game of Thrones spinoff show, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, was released earlier today. The high-fantasy series' latest spin-off is set to arrive on your screens at the very beginning of next year, as was confirmed by the official X account of Game of Thrones as well.

The poster reveal for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms dropped earlier today, and it left fans buzzing as they had a lot to talk about. The poster shows a young Aegon V Targaryen, the future king of Westeros, looking up at a tall, mysterious character, whose tall stature makes him go out of the frame of the poster as well. Speculation suggests that this character is Duncan the Tall, a part of the iconic titular duo, who, along with Aegon, changes the future of Westeros with his role as the future Lord Commander of the Knights' Watch.
Beyond the poster, fans can expect to get more information about the upcoming show during the New York Comic Con, scheduled to take place this weekend. During the Game of Thrones panel set to be held during the NYCC, fans can hope to get a glimpse at the first trailer of the upcoming spin-off of the George RR Martin series, and also hope to find out the actual date of release for the show. However, this is only speculation thus far, although with only three months left till the scheduled release date, the NYCC seems like the perfect time to roll out such information.
So far, 2026 is set to be a game-changing year for Game of Thrones, as this is the first time that two Game of Thrones spinoff shows will be released in the same year. Aside from A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms in January 2026, the year will also see the release of Season 3 of House of the Dragon.
