The San Diego Comic-Con is turning heads with all the teasers and trailer releases for upcoming projects. Added to this list is the Family Guy Season 24 teaser, which gives fans a hilarious look at everything that can be expected from the upcoming season.

The teaser was a highlight of everything that the upcoming season 24 has to offer, and the one thing that grabs all the attention is that after two decades of being heard but ignored and misunderstood, Lois Griffin can finally understand what Stewie says, and they have a conversation. The conversation itself is not the greatest, as he ends up complaining in the first thing he says to her.

Family Guy Season 24 releases a brand-new sizzle reel teaser

The Family Guy Season 24 panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 revealed that the new season of the fan-loved animated show would premiere on Fox sometime next year. Even though a specific release date and time were not revealed for the new season, a sizzle reel highlighting some of the tracks from the season was presented.

The teaser opened up with a full-blown Lord of the Rings parody titled The Lord of the Earring, similar to the Top Gun: Maverick parody last season. If it is similar to last season, the parody might be a full-length episode, or it might be a series of parodies in the "Land of Mordor."

The teaser also offers a look at everything that the rest of the family will get up to in the upcoming season. Peter will "catastrophically" clog up toilets, miss out on an Emmy to Bob's Burgers, and accidentally kill an angel who begged for help mere moments ago.

The raunchy political takes that the animated show is so well known for also make their presence known in the Family Guy Season 24 teaser as Meg is seated next to none other than Lauren Boebert at Beetlejuice the Musical.

"Um, Congresswoman Boebert, could you please stop touching me there? I'm a woman. My pants are just bunched up."

And Peter lands on Bill Belichick's girlfriend after his skydiving skit to find out:

"Oh no, I landed on Bill Belichick's girlfriend. She's only a child."

It doesn't end there for Family Guy Season 24 as the family enters someone's house, forces them to leave using his gun, and then explains his actions:

"I know, I know this sucks, but all of America did this, so it's not just me, so it's okay. Ah, terrific. Let's never teach about that in our schools."

Jeffrey Epstein's ghost and Eddie Murphy are name-dropped in the Family Guy Season 24 teaser, after which Stewie and Lois, high as kites, have the first-ever conversation in which Stewie complains:

"You can understand me. Oh, I've been waiting a long time to say this. Here goes. Please stop buying the cheap baby wipes. They tear me up."

Lois then replies:

"Oh, great. Your first words to me are a grocery critique. Hey, guess what? I think Baby Shark is a terrible song, and Dora sucks."

Family Guy Season 24 is all set to premiere on Fox in 2026, but before that, the show also has two upcoming specials for Hulu on Halloween and Christmas. The description for the Halloween special set to premiere October 6, titled A Little Fright Music," reads:

Brian and Stewie realize there is a shortage of quality Halloween songs, so they set out to write a hit, and Peter and the guys discover that lying about trick-or-treating can have deadly consequences.

Since the show will be returning next year, there is a probability that it will be part of the midseason release schedule, similar to the Season 23 release. Nevertheless, whenever the show marks its premiere, it will be raunchy and extremely funny, as the sizzle reel teaser attests.
