Billionaires' Bunker is a new series from the makers of the popular Spanish television series La Casa de Papel. This series' debut trailer was just unveiled on September 2, and on September 19, 2025, it will be available on Netflix. It will consist of 8 episodes.

The narrative is set at a challenging time when the globe is on the verge of catastrophe. Two extraordinarily wealthy families are forced to share a luxurious subterranean bunker designed to shield them from the problems of the outside world.

Living in cramped quarters poses a number of difficulties, despite the bunker's abundance of facilities, which include a basketball court, a spa, and cocktail bars. The families have to cope with long-held secrets, conflict within the family, and the anxiety of the terrifying circumstances outside. In order to show how people react under pressure, especially when they have a lot to lose, the series blends drama, suspense, and even romance.

Álex Pina and Esther Martínez Lobato, who also produced Money Heist, are the developers of this latest show: Billionaires' Bunker. Fans are excited to see what they will do next because their work on the first show was so successful.

True instances of billionaires building distinctive safe havens to protect themselves during disasters served as the inspiration for the story of Billionaires' Bunker. The series illustrates the contrast between luxury and fear, as well as the challenges of existing in a small space and establishing trust.

Following its 2017 Spanish television premiere, Money Heist immediately became well-known worldwide when Netflix acquired the international distribution rights. The show centers on a group of bandits led by the Professor, a shrewd and cautious figure. They plan massive heists against important targets, such as the Bank of Spain and the Royal Mint of Spain.

What started out as a limited series became a much larger narrative since so many people liked it. The 41 episodes and five parts that make up Money Heist were shot in Italy, Thailand, and Panama in addition to Spain.

Money Heist and Billionaires' Bunker both center on serious incidents, but they do it from very different angles. While Billionaires' Bunker explores the lives of the very wealthy as they fight to survive as everything around them falls apart, Money Heist tracks a bunch of crooks trying to circumvent the law. Because of this, the new series takes an interesting and fresh approach to examining issues of fear, power, and human nature.
