As the show is approaching the Season 3 finale, viewers can expect an intense penultimate episode, hinting at a possible confrontation between Gaal and the Mule. As the Foundation prepares to fight against the Mule, Demerzel and Dusk will take their own measures to push the remaining power into the Empire's control.

Additionally, Day's uncertain fate also hangs largely in the show's penultimate episode, suggesting another miraculous return.

What happened in Foundation Season 3 Episode 8?

Foundation Season 3 Episode 8 was an intense hour in the Apple TV+ series, which saw progress in various plot threads. Firstly, proving that the Mule might not be all-powerful, he meets his match in Digital Seldon. Threatened by Gaal's interference in his plans, he asks Digital Seldon to predict how long it will take him to overtake the control of the entire galaxy. While Seldon gives him a positive reply, he fails to extract any information about Gaal, giving the Mule a chance to mock Digital Seldon.

However, Digital Seldon, humiliated by the Mule, picks him up from the ground and makes him bleed from his nose. He also reveals that he is only letting the Mule live because he has a dark secret of his own that it wants to learn.
